The mask has a zipper pouch containing a muslin sachet filled with flax seeds and lavender. It smells very nice and can be removed it you like. First of all, its super soft and silky and i love the lavender scent. The reason i gave it only 3 stars overall is that it is very uncomfortable for a side sleeper like me. I woke up in the morning with my ears hurting from the straps and the entire mask had shifted. For back sleepers this is prob awesome but doesn’t work for me. I’ll keep it for my Sunday afternoon naps so. Back to my trusty Bucky mask ... show more

I have purchased this eye pillow for myself, for my children and for my friends. It's wonderful. The scent of lavender is lovely, and it's weighted on your eyes (Ahh! Bliss!). I like my bedroom dark, and this makes that possible. I would suggest buying a new one every 9 months to a year or so because the lavender scent dissipates and the pillow can get dirty after awhile.
