This 1440p monitor isn’t the highest resolution, nor is the 175hz refresh the best available, and there are better HDR implementations, BUT FOR THE PRICE! WOW, this is a great display. Great sized, more than high enough refresh rate, gsync/adaptive sync that prevents tearing, great wide viewing angles and fairly accurate colors at least as far as my eye is concerned. I have zero dead pixels which used to be an issue with flat panel monitors of days gone by. If you don’t need absolute bleeding edge this monitor is more than enough for you, anything past this and you start getting a steel climb in price for minor quality improvements. I personally like to stay several years back in terms of display tech because you get a lot more for your money. I’d rather take those savings and toss it into a higher end GPU which I will surely notice. RTINGS also gives this monitor fantastic ratings especially for the cost. I got this to replace a nice 28" 1440p monitor for a more immersive gaming experience on a PC. I wanted it in the same plane, the same distance from me, as the old monitor. I returned this because it is not suited to desktop use with a PC at a near distance. The stand extends almost fully to the sides and to the front. If you place the monitor near you to get an immersive effect, the stand is in the way of your mouse. That means you have to hold your arm half off the desktop which is tense, awkward and tiring. This stand might be good for use with a console and controllers. Battling gamers with controllers might benefit from the stability of this stand. The stand includes instructions for leashing it to the wall so I can imagine a 10 year old running from the room, controller in hand, yanking the monitor off a table and onto baby sister. This 1440 resolution is good for consoles. I like this resolution on a PC because my $400.00 RTX4060Ti GPU can handle it. I don't want to spend more on a GPU for a 4K monitor. The OSD is limited. I had to use the Asus Display Widget. I found the settings baffling. The various advertised features don't play nicely together so the advertising seems false. I managed a decent picture at 144 hz. Higher speeds are under "Overclocking" and have a warning that they may cause flickering. I was about to explore that but I didn't because I realized I could not live this this monitor, regardless. I almost bought a stand to fix the problem but this isn't a relative, I'm not obliged to accept a congenital defect. ... show more

I recently got this monitor and so far its better than any other I have had. The only small problem I had was with the packaging of the cables and hardware included for setup not being labeled in any way that would say what they are for.
