I use this with my 2023 ASUS G14 over HDMI and it works pretty well at 1440P 144hz, but my issue with it is it doesn’t support HDMI 2.1 so you can’t use G-SYNC or 170HZ without Display Port. Colors are good, gets bright, HDR looks cool, size is perfect, build quality and unboxing is amazing, accessories included are great Will update and see if a USB C to display cable fixes this issue. Will say, if you want to use a laptop as a desktop, I hook it up to the monitor and plug in my VR and neither have any latency or artifacts. ... show more

I'm very satisfied with this monitor: a.) Great build quality, good stand, strong. b.) Good picture and colors, matches my Dell Ultrasharp from a few years ago c.) Good gaming features. Next step up in quality is OLED, good monitor if you are like me and didn't want to spend $1,000 on a 27" monitor.

The media could not be loaded. For 180 hz monitors, these do not disappoint! They’ve got great color, and with included display cords, durable stands, and ability to run smoothly with my 4060ti (which is by far not the best gpu). I LOVE this monitor. It is now my primary monitor with the old Predator monitor taking a sideline as a display. Not saying the Predator is bad (it is great on a budget), but this monitor just blew away my expectations and is just an upgrade all around. Sound quality is great, picture is amazing, lag is not an issue, the eye strain reduction is already noticeable after a few weeks. Packaging was very well done, shipped fast, great construction, easy for follow set up instructions, BEAUTIFUL design, and the backlight is just icing on the cake. Reviewing model: XG27ACS Pros - Great brightness level - Great color range - Text looks sharp - Fast 180hz panel, smooth scrolling and gaming movement Cons - IPS screen limitation, so there's a bit of light bleed of the top, you can only see it at fully black screen test. I think it's the least amount of light bleed comparing to other IPS panel I've used. - On my panel, the screen is dimmer as you look from center screen going downward. So, looking at the bottom windows taskbar is dimmer, while looking at the browser tab headers at the top screen looks brighter. My previous panel brightness is more even from top to bottom. So, I think this is up to IPS panel lottery. Overall, I think it's a a good quality panel. It also has great default config out of the box, meaning default setting should have great text clarity and color. The only thing I need to adjust is the brightness level. ** Update I ended up returning the monitor and replaced with Gigabyte M27Q. This monitor doesn't have the dimming issue, and brightness / color are more uniformed. I think the Asus doing better on motion blur and more colorful, so if you're gaming oriented, grab the Asus. Punches way above its weight class. Can match and beat monitors 2 to 3 times its price. Easy set up, great build quality and reasonable footprint on the desk. I have nothing negative to say about this monitor. If you are on the fence about buying, don't hesitate, just buy it. You won't regret it.

ASUS truly knows how to make a good monitor. After over 10 years using an older ASUS 1080p 60Hz 1ms-delay screen, I decided to upgrade to this one. It is a marvelous piece of tech at a decent price and I highly recommend. Numerous inputs, fairly easy switching between inputs, lots of clear options. Honestly, coming from a 1440p 27” LG monitor with 160Hz refresh these aren’t that crazy comparatively. I notice a slight difference, but nothing I would pay $100 more a monitor for. That being said, I think they’re a fairly priced monitor, and they’re both nice. I just don’t see the purpose in spending the extra money personally. I did adjust frame rate and I’m running an RTX 4070 with these in HDR. ... show more
