    • Perfect fit, light, not too wide in size 12, no blisters--happy feet!
Having a longer (size 12) foot that is NOT wide finding the right fit can be a tricky for any kind of shoes, especially something a bit more athletic. Women's 12 can fit short or, if long enough, way too wide making my feet look like boats, especially because I favour wearing skinny jeans. These shoes are basically invisible, they don't look big or long--they're just nice tidy little shoes. That's just the aesthetic review. Within a few days of having these I took a fairly strenuous up and down hike at a local mountain in warm temps. I almost always get blisters with new shoes (even older shoes) with hikes that have elevation gain, in warm temps where feet can sweat, but I did not not a single spot even resembling a blister. My feet felt supported, light, cool, even bouncy, and happy. That's another happy point: these shoes are NOT heavy. I loathe heavy shoes. Really nice and light, but lots of cushioning too. I will buy this brand of shoes again when it comes time for a new pair. Oh! As an aside, when hiking I did wear a Features brand light weight ankle sock. I think that helped too! They really hug the foot, so no rubbing or blistering. ... show more

    • Great colors and texture
So cute. Didn’t realize it was dark grey and black but it looks great. The black ASICS logo cut out that wraps around the nose of the shoe is black or nearly black, with a metallic black cheetah/reptile print that creates a subtle texture to break up the dark colors. You don’t see it very well in pictures. The added black paint spray texture on the white rubber adds texture as well and really makes the white ASICS logo pop. I like the pink accent color on the back as well. I may put in pink laces for fun. Held up well on my three mile jog every morning for a few weeks so far. Despite the white rubber on the sole, they disguise dirt very well. I haven’t had to wipe off the dirt yet and I’ve actually hardened in them once. I also have plantar fasciitis and achilles tendinitis and these cheap shoes surprised me. I haven’t had to pull out my special insoles yet. I do like these shoes. They are very pretty and I like the ridges for extra grip on the bottom. Like people have said, it's not super comfortable unless you put inserts in it. I have fibromyalgia and a super high arch so I need extra cushion and these shoes need it. It's not the shoe's fault though that I have a high arch LOL. Overall I like the shoe! I got this $70 shoe for only $30 so that was an added bonus! ... show more

    • Very cute shoe with no padding in the forefoot

I am a trained assistant to a pedorathist. I bought these shoes because I love the look of them and Asics is a great brand overall, especially for women. I walked 1 mile in these shoes though and had a terrible knee ache. There is no padding in the forefoot, only in the heel. The support features are not very advanced or technical. This is a great durable low-end shoe for people who don't need a lot of padding for excessive walking or standing. This is not a shoe for an active adult. ... show more

These are not the black main color with gray accents/laces and a strong electric blue sole and inside. They are a slate gray with pale gray accents and sky blue sole/inside. But for $50, they serve their purpose. Do not be fooled though and whoever says the colors are your screen may vary is lying to themselves about what they did in photoshop to darken everything except the background. Like the other reviewer, if I’d know the real color, I’d have picked something else. But it’s fine and an okay shoe at this price point works for me. ... show more

    • Not up to usual standard
I have been a loyal ASICS buyer for many years. These shoes feel like cheap Walmart tennis shoes. There is little to no cushion...I have experienced foot pain and back pain. I have gone back to wearing my 1 year old shoes which I bought these shoes to replace and all the issues I had resolved. Asics...you dropped the ball on these shoes. ... show more

I am disappointed in this style of ASIC Shoe. My right big toe area is already breaking down, showing wear and will soon have a hole. I have not had the shoes that long, Less than 2 months. I usually get a year of wear from ASICS before having to replace. I do not recommend this style.
