The shoe was built as advertised. While I started off a bit concerned it did not have a width size, and looked slim, I found it was a secure fit without discomfort and worked well for me while playing tennis. I liked its light weight and maneuverability. When I think of ACICS, I think of running, jogging shoes. This particular shoe is described as a tennis shoe. It certainly is too stiff to serve as a running shoe, but because of the support it gives, I like it for an every day shoe. The sizing is accurate, size 14 for me, and the construction is top notch. I was hopeful at first, the shoe felt good and was a good fit but unfortunately I started to see significant wear after only a few uses and really mild usage - not the kind you'd expect from Pickleball/Tennis - which is what these shoes are suppose to be made for. After minimal use I have noticed tears in the material of the left shoe, next to seams, and in the middle of the top, neither of which are high pressure areas. The material is just bad - you can tell it's failing - it feels more like a plastic material than fabric which makes me wonder if these are legit. I need to reach out to Asics. I contacted the seller but had no more response after a request for pictures. I highly recommend you AVOID these shoes and this seller. ... show more

Likes - Handling on the court (for the most part) - Not flashy--I don't like flashy, multi-colored shoes Dislikes - After about four weeks of medium use (I alternated using these shoes with another pair of pickleball shoes--different brand), the top of both shoes (roughly at the base of the big toe) started flaking off. My other set of pickleball shoes (different brand) that I bought at the same time and had the same level of use and cost about the same, have no issues, plus I feel my foot better protected, particularly for lateral movements on the pickleball court. ... show more
