Quality coiled cable for an extremely good price. I’m new to the whole keyboard thing and once I saw how people get coiled cables I had to have one lol. Everywhere I looked they were $40+ and that just seemed crazy for a single cable. Enter Asceny and their coiled cable and I couldn’t be happier. It’s very clean. Cable is double braided and has a nice texture to it. The coils themselves are roughly an inch in height and about 6” in length to give you an idea. They seem to have been wound pretty tight and evenly. This is a great starter cable for a great price if you’re looking to get one without shelling out a ton of money. I’ll probably stick with it since I have no need for the custom aviator type cables everyone seems to get so if you’re like me, pick one up and you won’t regret it :) ... show more

It is good for what it is. The coil was slightly pinched in the packaging which made it really difficult to lay flat and training it to stay was kinda difficult. I ended up having to tape the cable to my desk in multiple spots with painters tape to get it to sit right. After like 4 or 5 days of that though it honestly looks good. The cable length is also kinda short if you have a larger desk. I ended up running a 3ft usb extension cable to better hide the cable. ... show more

Worked great for my sons cords. The back of his desk faces his door and I was over seeing all of the cords every where. I purchased this for him and he was able to place all of his cords in it and tie it to the frame of his desk. It now just looks like one of the pieces of his desk. The old ones that looked like a phone cord were hard to use and if they stretched out you could see the cords. That is not an issue with this since it is a sleeve that has a fair amount of give in it. ... show more

I was able to give this item some time of use and I have a few things that I couldn't get over. 1. Although it looks great and seems to be well build, the cord is too stiff. It never straighten out and it looks horrible on my desk considering I bought this cord specifically for aesthetics. With the cord unable to lay flat on the my desk overtime after it's unpackaging, it was a constant eye sore. 2. Although the coiled part of the cord can extend or stretched, the idea behind the coil again is aesthetics, the visual presentation of the coil is to visually appealing, but the uncoiled part of the cord being too short or not long enough in my case, I couldn't set the coiled part of the cord on my desk as I wanted it. Aside from my complains above, I still think this is a good product and most importantly it worked the way its suppose to. The stiffness of the cord and overall length uncoiled part of the cord was a deal breaker for me. Hopefully the company does something improve this issue, because of the people who will purchase this is for form and function not either or. ... show more

It is a great product but it doesn't work. I bought this maybe 3 months ago and i was happy with it for a few days. Then it began giving me some problems. When i would be typing for long periods of time it would just suddenly stop working and i would need to un plug the cable from my computer and my keyboard. It was very annoying. After a while it would just stop working and my windows would give me a notification saying that the usb that had been plugged in couldn't be identified. I was concerned because this problem was new. I didn't know if it was my keyboard or the cable. So I took another usb-c cable and tried that one with my keyboard. The cable and board were fine so it meant that the coiled one was broken. It was too late to return it so i just have it on my tech shelf with my other boards now. Dont buy it, it may look good but it is definitely not good. ... show more
