I tend to be on my laptop a lot and it is difficult to work on one screen. This monitor has helped so much with the ease of use by only having to plug in one cable to link it to my laptop.     • Decent Monitor for gaming. Better for movies and shows
it is a decent monitor for gaming. For the price you really cant complain. Its not the brightest and its 1080p 60hrtz refresh rate. Good: I do like how premium it feels and how thin the monitor is. It is very light and portable. It wont make your backpack heavy. The case that it comes with is also the stand for it. The price is under $80 for it. If your playing retro gaming on it, this is perfect. If you are trying to play first person shooters like call of duty i would recommend the higher refresh rate monitor. This monitor is great for slow paced gaming and watching movies and tv shows. You can connect all times of devices like, your iphone, rog ally or nintendo switch, ps4/5, or an xbox. For an older iPhone you would probably need one of those usb- c to lightning adapters. Bad: Like i said, the refresh rate it not that good for fast paced fps games but great for watching movies and shows. When i first got it, i plugged everything in and it wouldn't work. After about an hour later i tried it again and it worked. So i don't know whats up with that why it wasn't working at first. I dont know how i could have plugged it in wrong the first time, its only 2 usb C ports. One cable goes into the device and monitor and the other into a power source.     • Nice monitor at a really great price
I ordered one of these monitors about 6 months ago to use as a second monitor for my work Thinkpad and my personal MacBook Air, both of which have USB-C ports. Overall I'm very pleased. Image quality is good and the screen has decent brightness. USB-C connections to the monitor work great, although you have to make sure to use a high quality USB 3.1 cable. If you use a run of the mill USB-C cable, the monitor will get power but video will NOT work. The monitor comes with a USB 3.1 cable, which works great with both of my computers, but using my Mac's USB-C power cable doesn't work other than to power the monitor. I have also used the monitor via HDMI, which works great but you still need to power the monitor via USB-C. Note that the monitor doesn't use a standard HDMI connector--it uses a mini HDMI (supplied with the monitor), which is fine until you forget to bring the cable. I like the magnetic "folio" style case that comes with the monitor as well. It does a decent job of protecting the screen and doubles as a monitor stand, although it's not the most sturdy. It's fine for using on a desk or table but I don't think I'd trust it on an airplace on a less stable surface. Not that you'd use this monitor on an airplane. :-) The screen's menu system is a little awkward to use but it's servicable. Note that if the screen seems too dark, the defauilt brightness levels are pretty low, so you'll want to crank it up via the menu buttons. Otherwise the default settings seem to work OK.I've watched some videos on the screen, which were fine, but I can't speak to using it for gaming. I'm going to guess its refresh rate probably is a bit low for high frame rate games. Overall, I'm super pleased with this purchase. The monitor is just the right size for portable use and it's great to have a second monitor when I'm on the road. It's not terribly heavy, is for the most part plug-and-play, and even has a nice cover/stand. All for an outstanding price. ... show more

Connected right away to all of my devices and I did not have to do much setup. It is easy to adjust the brightness and volume and use with Windows or MacOS. I had this sitting in my closet for months, just now started using it for work until my larger monitors arrive. Let me tell you, this little monitor is wonderful! First off it comes with several connectors to make it easy for connecting. I have a MacPro M1 and literally plug in and use! That simple! It has a dual USB C so just plug into the monitor and plug directly into laptop, no need for an external HUB. BTW that comment was very techy for a non tech person. I’m telling you the only way they could make it easier is by coming to your home and plugging it in for you. As far as quality, again I am not a tech guru, but with that said, the display is good for what I need it for and that’s to have a second screen to do my work. I have also hooked it up to my iPhone 15 ProMax and tried watching Prime/Netflix and it was just ok, pic quality is low as is sound. But that’s not what I got it for and if needing for Netflix/Prime it will do in a bind. So bottom line is, this is great for taking work with you on the road without having to take your big monitor.
