    • First time purchasing epoxy resin
Had a few little projects I wanted to try out and needed a product that was super strong and could be used around food products. This stuff is incredible. Since using Art Resin I have tried a few other brands, but nothing comes close. I got to the point of being VERY selective of what I was and was not willing to use my art resin on lol. This is the only resin I use to make my small craft projects. It’s relatively easy to work with and depending on environment and amounts used, dries overnight. Small champagne Bubbles can be a challenge if you don’t use a torch, hairdryer and lighter don’t work neither does trying to pop them with a pin. ... show more

The resin was pretty easy to use for beginners, however I am using it for keychains and deeper things, so I’m not a pro at not having bubbles yet. I also can’t seem to get glitter to not float to the bottom of my pieces, but that’s a me problem, not the product. It’s fairly easy to use and my favorite part is that it’s nontoxic. I still wear protective gear and have a well ventilated area to be safe though. The smell is a little strong, but I’m just sensitive to smells. It’s definitely not a good value for your money though. The bottles are extremely small for how expensive they are. I’ve used the resin a few times to make some keychains and I’m almost empty already. I wish there was more instructions on the best way to get 1v1 pouring though for the mixture. Overall, I really like the resin. It’s fun to play around with, but it is bubbly even with tricks like that warming it up in a hot cup, letting it sit, stirring 3+ minutes slowly, and using a lighter. Still couldn’t pop all the bubbles in the bottom and middle of the keychains. I will be purchasing again unless I can find a cheaper non toxic resin made for thicker projects. ... show more

    • beginner's review - this stuff is pricey
first time resin user so my expectations aren't necessarily disappointments in this resin but in the whole concept of resin itself. I'm not a big fan of plastic and this is what you basically end up with if you plop this and some glitter/flowers/whatever in a mold. If you're using to coat something it does leave a nice shine, but so does varnish. it does self level which is nice but be sure to put it on a level spot. I did find this product easy to use, definitely watch their YouTube videos for helpful tips in getting out bubbles, etc.) DEFINITELY WEAR PPE. Get gloves on your hands when working with this stuff. And definitely use in a well ventilated area and store the pieces while they cure in a well ventilated area. And the price I think is a bit high. You can buy resin coasters for half to a fourth of the price of making them yourself. Just something to consider before you buy all the supplies. ... show more

This is for 2-4oz bottles. For a total of 8oz just to make that clear. Good for small projects but not for larger ones. I found that it didn't smell as bad as other cheaper resins and didn't aggravate my already beat up sinuses (when I first started I used the cheap crap filled one and no ventilator mask. Don't do that) if you have bad allergies I'd still recommend wearing a mask. I used it in silicone form and not for coating art it seemed to set up pretty well. Did have a good bit of tiny bubbles so I'd definitely recommend mixing slowly ... show more
