I wanted this to put in front of the patio door, on the inside where my cats like to sit and watch outside, and it was lovely for a few minutes! :D It didn't really have any odor, there were some loose grassy strands that fell off, but not much, it was nice to walk on and sit on and the color and texture was lovely! One of my cats loved it and sat on it right away! One of the others decided it was a perfect place to use the litter. Within 10 min. :D I can attest that it washes easily and has good draining, having spent the subsequent 10 minutes doing relocation and clean up duty. :D It's now looking lovely sitting on my back deck, on the OUTSIDE of the patio door where the birds enjoy it as their litter box too. I guess it's THAT convincing! I think it's fantastic and I love it, indoors or out! It has a nice weight that seems likely to withstand even very windy days. ... show more

We got this to put in our doggo's kennel, for use, when we are at work. We built a 2 inch platform that is the size of the grass on top of the cement that the kennel is on top of, filled it with pebble rocks, laid a sheet of rubber grass mat, then put the grass on the top. We go out clean up the mess, spray it off with a power washer, put a environmental cleaner on it, let it dry, rinse it off and put another layer of cleaner on the top. So far so good. The dogs love it and after a month it doesn't smell. For us, this has worked well and I would purchase this again. ... show more

It comes rolled, so there are no creases to worry about. It has drainage holes evenly spaced on the backside for easy cleaning. This grass rug is realistic looking for sure. There is even a scattering of ‘dead’ grass leaves scattered around. The cut edges fray and shed quite a bit at first. Thankfully there wasn’t a strong odor even though it was wrapped quite tightly in a lot of plastic wrap. The instructions say to lay it out in the sun for 5 days to get the grass blades to fluff up, but I don’t want to leave it outside and risk rain or bird poop or bugs so I’m just going to keep it inside and use a broom on it occasionally. I ordered it to be cut in half and placed under my plant shelves, to catch any possible water drips. I’m not disappointed with it. It seems very heavy duty and I feel confident that it will protect my wood floors from any plant drips that may happen. ... show more
