These arrived rolled up, which prevented unsightly folds and creases. It is a nice thick mat covered in synthetic grass. It doesn't look fully real, but it avoids looking obviously fake at a glance. Drainage on it is good. We tested it with a water hose to make sure it wouldn't cause drainage and runoff issues. It lets water pass through it nicely. I ordered this to put down in a large area of our outdoor bunny dwelling. They love it. They’re all the time playing & laying on it. The only thing they like better is dirt 😂 It looks realistic and feels soft. Bunnies poo a lot and this is easy to clean. I wanted this to put in front of the patio door, on the inside where my cats like to sit and watch outside, and it was lovely for a few minutes! :D It didn't really have any odor, there were some loose grassy strands that fell off, but not much, it was nice to walk on and sit on and the color and texture was lovely! One of my cats loved it and sat on it right away! One of the others decided it was a perfect place to use the litter. Within 10 min. :D I can attest that it washes easily and has good draining, having spent the subsequent 10 minutes doing relocation and clean up duty. :D It's now looking lovely sitting on my back deck, on the OUTSIDE of the patio door where the birds enjoy it as their litter box too.
