I used these with my students for an art project on black construction paper and I did not like how it was very waxy without heavy pigment. It did not show up brightly nor did it show up like it was a neon colored pastel. I ended up regular oil pastels, which showed brighter than these pastels did matter fact I think crayons show up even stronger than these did.
