I got these for my son. As other reviews have said, the widths of the slots don't all make sense. Some of the deeper ones are narrower than some shorter ones. The angle does not seem correct, as some wrenches fit very well and other go in too far. He padded some of the slots so the wrenches didn't go in too far. If you have long wrenches, I think you would have the opposite problem. The ties do not want to stay tied. The flap is strange due to the angle on the bottom. Having the roll square and the slots angled seems to be a better design. ... show more

    • Canvas and Balistic Version's Dimensions Vary
This appears and feels to be a good product, but I would go with their canvas version (Ergodyne Arsenal 5782 Tool & Wrench Roll Pouch w/ 14 Pockets). I previously purchased 2 of the canvas versions and will rate 5 stars after this review. Perhaps I'm not seeing in the description somewhere, this tool roll-up is significantly larger than the canvas roll-up. In the canvas version, my wrenches slide in nicely, all the way to the bottom of each pocket with the wrench size showing. The pockets are shallow enough, the wrenches stick out of the top. This roll-up is rather tight, and the wrenches have to be held from the bottom of the pocket in order to see the sizes. Again, appears to be a well-made product, but I'll most likely purchase a third canvas version and give this to a friend. Apparently, my review of the ballistic version is tied to the review of the canvas version...a shared review. If I could rate them separately, I would give the canvas version 5 stars for the reasons above. ... show more

bought this to save some room in my tool locker at work due to limited available space. it is huge when rolled up, so i've just stuffed some of my extra wrenches in it at home. to give some idea of the overall size, a standard 3/4 in wrench sits in the 8th slot from the left, and there are 5 more slots to the right, each progressively longer. the slot swallows all but the open end of the wrench, which i leave out. the 9th slot swallows a crescent brand 12in adjustable wrench. it is about 18 inches long and 4 inches in diameter all rolled up. if you are looking for a wrap that will hold a large set up to say 1 1/2, this'll do it. it seems to be well made and sturdy tho i've only had wrenches in it for a week or so. ... show more

These tool roll-ups are fantastic. I was always digging through a pile of random crap at the bottoms of my tool boxes and buckets looking for just the right tool. Then a coworker got one of these as a birthday gift and I was instantly sold. Now I don't have to search for a single thing. They're intended for wrenches, but can be used for so much more. I have two for wrenches (metric and standard), two for various other skinny tools, and two of a different style for tools that won't fit in the wrench roll-up. When I get to a job, I can have them all rolled out in seconds. And when I'm done, even if I don't have the time to put each tool into it's designated slot, I simply roll them up in the middle of their pouch and still avoid the mess. I would recommend these to anyone who favors simplification over complication. ... show more

The Arsenal 5872 is well made, but simply too big. I own the canvas Arsenal model and it works well. I own multiple sets of wrenches by different companies and they are all too small. Including a Snap On Flank Drive Plus set that is too small for this roll too. Another thing: the largest wrench sticks out when the roll is secured. Not good. These two issues are not present in the canvas version by same company. I am not returning this, I think the quality is above average. I will either alter it to fit my needs, or buy some extra long wrenches that would be a better fit. My raised panel Craftsmans dissapear in this, and my Mac CW's do too. When you or your gloves are greased up, the last thing you want to do is have to fish for the wrench you need. If you are looking for a good fit for your wrenches....look at the canvas version. Same quality....better sizing. ... show more

Excellent construction, very durable, rugged and will last a lifetime. I ordered this first though and found that I actually needed the Arsenal 5782 Canvas Wrench Roll-Up for my wrench set as I had a bunch of smaller size wrenches. The Arsenal 5872 Wrench Roll-Up I say is meant for more industrial size wrenches which are longer in length. If your wrench set is say around the 1" and more nut size and say around the 12" and more length then this wrench roll-up is for you. If the majority of wrenches are smaller then I'd recommend the Arsenal 5782 Canvas Wrench Roll-Up which is white in color also. Check your wrench sizes and check the specifications online to save you some trouble in case you ordered the wrong one like me. Works great though and keeps everything neat and easily accessible!
