This is an absolute upgrade from the ugly wire shelf I had before. Nothing arrived broken and I do think this is a good alternative to IKEA builds. I'm petite but it was still pretty easy to assemble by myself, the mounting was only a little bit trickier so make sure you have a level! While it does look nice, it will also make you hyper aware of how not straight your closet really is. I thought the size of the screws and anchors were overkill but I'm not an carpenter and the closet system has been holding up well while full of stuff so it's definitely secure. So I cut both hands, hurt my toe, and hurt under my eye while putting this together, so I wouldn’t say that it is the most easy thing to assemble. Especially if your closet is like mines, which is exactly 5ft making it hard to screw things in place. That being said, it came out beautifully. It was really nice and sturdier than expected. Even the fabric drawers look nice. Other than how difficult it was putting the screws in place while in the closet, it was pretty straight forward to put together. ... show more

Unless you’re using this for kids clothes, I would recommend elevating the entire unit before installing it. With the lower bar closed definitely hit the floor. Very easy to put together functional and looks nice, I would buy again.
