I have sesamoiditis, ball of foot pain, and these boots are still comfortable for long walking and I’ve gotten so many compliments. Boots are expensive and these were the ones I could afford and I’m very happy with them. I’m usually a five, and the 5.5 fit just right so maybe size up a little.

These work well as a barn boot for my daughter but because of the wide calf of the fat baby, they aren’t as good for riding. I wish I had know that because now I have to get her a new riding boot. Love ariat quality and the stitching is pretty.

Got these for my wife after a car accident because they said she needed to have her ankles covered when returning to work. While the boots are fairly comfortable and fit well for the most part. She says the ankle has no support so she feels like she may roll her ankle with any slight misstep.

I REALLY want to like these boots. The colors are great but they are not a good work boot for me and they are kind of clompy. I wear strait leg pants so the boots are way too wide to put pants over the tops, I haven’t tried them with boot cut pants, cuz i hate them bagging and flapping around my ankles. When I just jam into them (a big plus!) and go out to the garden to do actual chores, bugs, hay, grass, dirt, gravel, EVERYthing falls INTO the tops of the boots and gets stuck in my socks. I don’t know what kind of bug got down in there and bit me but my leg had welts all over near the top of the right boot. Why have all the turquoise stitching if I have to put pants OVER them to keep the bugs out?! Not even a fashion statement at ALL then, nor are they the work boot I had hoped for. The soles are ok so far, haven’t tested real waterproofness but water splashes into them when I’m watering f I’m not careful. My feet must be REALLY different sizes because the left 8.5 is loose and the right 8.5 is tight. Testing them and breaking them in has helped some and I guess I can wear an extra sock in the left one when both boots are equally worn and broken in, cuz lefty is getting really LOOSEY, as the right one is BARELY getting less tight and pinchy. I’d return them, but I’ve banged them up too much in testing to do so. So that’s $107 down the tubes which I think is too dang pricey for what they are. Oh well. ... show more
