It stains well and the colors were very easy to mix and blend. It’s not the best at patching surface scratches. But we are very happy with the results. The media could not be loaded. Let me start by saying, I didn't have high hopes for this project. I thought the chances of finding a matching color to restore a vintage leather suitcase were slim to none. However, I was blown away by this leather restaining kit! Fast forward to completing the project, and I now have a **basically brand-new vintage set of luggage** thanks to this amazing product. It was **incredibly easy to use**—I applied it with paper towels, a scraper, a brush, and even improvised with other tools. The stain seeped into the leather perfectly and dried quickly, giving me flawless results. The color match? **Spot on**! It matched my vintage leather suitcase **to a T**.     • Looked good initially but re-cracked and peeled immediately
Not sure if my faux leather is just too far gone, but I've tried to repair it twice with this kit and both times it completely re-cracks within a week. Might be better on really small areas or a smaller cushion, this is a rear couch cushion.

    • Worked better than I hoped
Saved me from having to buy a whole new leather recliner sofa that cat had scratched. Seemed hard to get perfect color match but even with my poor vision I got pretty close match. Very Easy to work with. On close examination it is easy to spot the repair, but it easily passes a casual glance. Recommend it highly. Also where the repair is located on sofa is where your head rests. After a month the repair is holding up fine and no reaction on my bald head from the product. ... show more

    • Lack of supprt and easy to understand instructions
My recommendation is to NOT purchase this product. The instructions included DO NOT provide step by step information. It does not indicate on how to apply the backing with the adhesive compound, and the color matching chart does not clearly indicate the secondary color. The instructions state to look horizontally to determine the primary color and then vertically to determine the secondary color. My primary color is Tan and unlike a look up chart, if you go to the secondary color, it indicates Tan as well. I contacted the manufacturer with my concerns and all they indicated was to look at the online video. The online videos that I could find doesn’t show the use of the backing piece only filling in a small hole with the matched color. My email simply asked for a step-by-step process. When do I use the adhesive compound? And how do I interpret the color matching chart? Finally, do I mix the color with the adhesive compound or is this done once the adhesive compound sets? I did not receive what I would call answers to my questions. So, I never used it and it has been returned. Stay away from this company as the speak highly about their support but I only received one email from them and it took 2 days for that to occur. ... show more

Overall good product! The color matching kit isn't very informative and takes trial and error to figure out what matches couch best. helped me after cat scratched couch, it was only light so i don't know how it would cover bigger marks.
