First the good news, a 10 month old did not get burned under it. Was a bit weary of the fact that you can see the sun through the fabric. The canopy does not have pockets to hold the poles. We used fishing pole anchors to secure the sandbags. The sandbags are useful in the setup but definitely not in strong winds so we put a fishing pole anchor in front of each sandbag and the canopy stayed up in a brisk wind on the beach. We did have to adjust the poles periodically, as the pockets to hold the poles did not exist in the canopy I received.     • Best beach canopy so far
I love how easy it is to setup and break down. It feel once during my beach vacation. The wind changed direction by 180 degrees and I didn't bury the rear sandbags. The canopy caught wind and slide the bags. Within a couple minutes I had it back up with the sandbags buried and had no more issues.

have always used the square canopy style tents for the beach but wanted to try something new. I saw these and watched the videos and thought they looked great. They are not. I will say they are easy to transport since the bag is lightweight. That’s about the only thing I liked. It took much longer than 2 minutes to assemble. The videos show how easy it is when there is no wind. The stakes used for the sand bags get pulled out of the sand with the slightest tug. Overall not what I hoped. ... show more

Worst shade I have ever bought. Thought I would try something different than a pop up canopy, it looked cool and easy to set up. Wrong! You will never get this thing to stand up on a windy beach. Total waste of money!
