Very good motor for the money. I bought the quick release adapter and makes it very easy to take off. It has good power on my 16.5' Sylvan. The only complaint is that the left/right movements often move too much (meaning the micro adjustments to stay on course move too much). Overall great buy. The only problem I had with this motor was it was sent to California based on the tracking number, but when I told the company about the problem they took care of it right away. They said I was given the wrong tracking number and it showed up two days later. Great thrust, quiet, easy to use. Can't go wrong expect I should, and may still order the foot controller. You're trying to fish and use the remote at times and it gets annoying. Next time I won't be so cheap, it's not that much more. ... show more

Works very well and uses very little battery power . Have this mounted on a 20.5 foot pontoon boat and powers it without any problems .
