  • Bring a Paddle
Color: Remote Control 50706-100B
***Updated***: Finally was contacted by the manufacturer, who contacted the seller. Seller sent a new integrated circuit card and instructions on how to replace the "mother board'. Fairly easy. The motor works like it did when it arrived. Still a great motor for my larger than average boat. Original Review (Edited to remove not buying another of these motors): Fantastic fun the first two years on the boat. Mounted it on my heavy aluminum 1950 Cadillac 4 seat boat, and powered right along. Then the fully charged battery and fully charged remote stopped talking to each other, and the motor would not accept more than one command (start, but no turning, or turning, but no propeller spinning) I had difficulty contacting customer support. ... show more

  • Great investment
Color: Remote Control 50706-100B
I have had this trolling motor for the past couple of months and I have not had any issues with it. I was a little concerned when I realized that it was 27lbs, since I was using this on my kayak but it was no problem at all. The power it supplies is great but be careful if you are using this with a kayak. If you turn too fast while picking up speed, it could catch you by surprise and cause you to lose your balance. This is a huge step up from the Minnkota trolling motors. ... show more

  • No problem with delivery but some issues with product.
Color: Remote and Foot Control 100B
The Trolling Motor is nice and works greats! Really moves my boat. I found that the foot switch is practically unusable. I don't know whose foot they used to as a reference when designing the foot peddle, but it must have been one huge foot! The foot peddle itself is very large and even the hight is difficult to deal with. Distance between the Left and Right turn buttons is huge and requires unrealistic foot movement to go between the two. The buttons are difficult to push as well making it almost impossible to steer the motor with any accuracy. When you are able to push the turn button, the degree of movement is excessive again, making it difficult to steer with the foot peddle. Also, the foot peddle either turns the motor on or off. (Push on, push off). Would be better to mimic a competitor's foot switch where you push on and release to turn off. The Wireless remote makes control easier but takes away the ability to steer and cast at the same time. All-in-all, I like the motor. The Footswitch needs a serious redesign to make it more user friendly. I would love to see these guys offer a footswitch replacement that is easier to use. ... show more

  • Review for Clamp-on Remote Control/Foot Pedal Version
Color: Remote and Foot Control 120B
Update 2023: This motor continues to meet my expectations of a solid motor. I run it all day on a lithium battery with no issues. Constant trolling, remote still works great. Been through multiple rain storms and has kept on trucking. Very happy with the purchase. I bought this to mount to the front of a decked out 14 foot boat using a procontroll ez mount. So far, I've fished 3 days with the motor, 8 hours per day, and it has been rock solid. I troll with this 100% of the time while I'm fishing for walleye. No on/off, literally running the whole time. Remote works well and holds a good charge, foot pedal works well. The entire unit held up to a solid rainstorm, so that is good as well, so far. One thing to note, if you mount it to the front of the boat, the foot pedal controls will be backwards, as the unit is meant for the transom. The remote can be clipped to the lanyard upside down to make the controls on it correct, though. I'll come back and modify my review if the unit craps out on me. ... show more

  • Thr problem is with Amazon
Color: Remote and Foot Control 100B
the trolling motor didn't fit my boat. I sent it back with Amazon's mailing label. UPS lost the trolling motor. After 16 calls and emails with UPS, they said they were paying the claim directly to Amazon. Amazon first removed the charge, then billed me again for the trolling motor. Talk about a screwed-up mess, and all I can talk to are people in a foreign country. ... show more

  • Good & Bad
Color: Remote and Foot Control 100B
Bought this trolling motor due the ability to clamp to front of my small 2-person bass boat and have foot control. Like another person said, the motor is great and the remote is nice. My son and I unloaded boat and used remote to bring boat back to boat ramp. However, the foot pedal on the other hand is a pain in the neck due to it's large size and stiff buttons. It's easier to use two feet to control it because the buttons are too stiff and sometimes you can't get it pushed or push too hard and turn too much. Plus if you swivel the boat chair to fish out of the side of boat, it's impossible to use the foot pedal so you have to use the remote but then you have to keep your hand on the remote to constantly steer. Also, if the speed is faster, the boat turns faster and find myself constantly correcting direction. If there is any wind on the water, it makes it even harder to use. If you are into doing donuts on the water with your boat, this is the motor for you! I find myself having to fiddle constantly with the remote to keep on course, so then don't get to fish. If you anchor and fish, this would be great. The motor does have alot of speed. Back to the foot control...it does have an LCD screen to see how fast the motor speed is and if the motor is on or off which is very helpful, so I keep the foot control within a few feet for that option because the motor is super quiet. It is not a lit screen, so it's hard to see closer to evening or early morning. It's a strong motor and have had zero problems with it but the foot controll needs work. Oh, and if using the remote, you can connect either end to the landyard depending whether the motor is mounted to front or back so the right button turn you right and left turns you left! The foot pedal can do the same. One last thing, if you have a person on the boat along for the ride and doesn't care if they fish, it works great to let them drive! My son actually put the foot control on his lap and used his hands to steer boat that way we both could control the boat. ... show more

  • Very Good Customer Service and Product
Color: Remote and Foot Control 100B
We bought motor in April '23 to replace a Minn Kota 55lb on our 14ft Jonboat. Due to an illness in family, we were not able to use it until a few weeks ago. The battery had gone bad in the remote. I worked with Alice at the seller and she quickly sent me a replacement. Very pleasant customer service experience. The motor has been working great around our lake and seems to have same power as motor it replaced. Very satisfied with purchase. ... show more
