  • Great goggles, but not for my head shape.
Color: Clear/White/Black
These are my third pair of goggle in about a year. I must have a weird shaped head, because I can't find goggles that hold their seal. I always end up with a leak on the outside edge within minutes of swimming. After trying on a pair of these in a store, I felt I'd finally found some that would hold that seal on the outside. But nope, after 4-5 swims with these, I still have the same troubles. Not to say this is the fault of the goggle makers, but I'm frustrated that it's so hard to find a pair that does the trick for me. I've since ordered a pair of Roka goggles, which from reviews, seem to help a lot of people with the same issues I have, folks that have gone through pair after pair looking for a non-leaking fit. I do want to emphasize that these goggles are otherwise GREAT. I can see great in them, they are comfortable, and my wife has the same kind and they work awesome for her. It's just those of us with neanderthal heads that have troubles. ... show more

  • Exo is a Huge Disappointment. Loved AquaSphere's prior googles, but Exo quality takes a step down
Color: Clear/Blue/White
I have used Aqua Sphere Googles (Kayenne and Kaiman) for 7 years and have owned 12 pairs myself. My kids use them with swim team which accounts for another 6 pairs purchased over 5 years. The quality has always been exceptional and never had any with leaks in the first 7 months of use... of course at some point the seals break down naturally. I was curious to try the new Exo google and am so disappointed! A week after the return policy was past they started leaking and the fit was not near as comfortable as the prior generations of Kaiman and Kayenne. The biggest attraction of those googles were that they were so comfortable I could swim a mile and didn't really notice they were on. No raccoon eyes... and a great seal with little pressure on my face. The Exo was so uncomfortable and then the leak makes me wonder what the product design team at Aqua Sphere was thinking... what a miss and the quality has gone downhill... cheaper materials. ... show more

  • Very comfortable but lost seal and started leaking in less than 6 month
Color: Smoke/Silver/Black
I've bought about a dozen of Kaiman goggles in the last decade and just earlier this year, the "improved" EXO version. Why you ask ? For one, they are very comfortable and fit me very well. But every single pair I've owned lost suction in less than a year. No, I don't abuse them- in fact, I take good care of them - always rinse after use and keep in the case to avoid scratching the lenses. And seeing how I'm an open water swimmer 99% of the time, they hardly ever get chlorine exposure, which would naturally degrade the rubber and plastic. Yet they enevitably lose the seal and start leaking. I've never written a review on these, just kept buying a new pair on average every year, but it got really annoying as my last pair (EXO in this case) didn't last even 6 month. Perhaps the improved version is after all not... ... show more

  • Well worth the money.
Wow! As comfy as could be and they don't leak at all. I was using the Swedish goggles and then put these on. Zero leaks and you don't have to have these on super tight to avoid leaks. I have a very big head (98th percentile) and these fit me just fine. They also don't push on the inside of my eyes despite having a non-adjustable nose piece. They're as comfortable as putting on a pair of good sunglasses. When I dive in off the pool deck these do not slide down my face or allow water to leak in, but I only dive in about two or three times per swimming session. These are very, very worth the money. I was a bit shocked to pay $26 for a pair of swim goggles, but getting out of the pool with white, painless eyes and not having to constantly fiddle with them while swimming--that's very nice. They're made in Italy and seem to be of very high quality. ... show more

  • Best competitive swimming goggles I've owned in years
These are, hands down, the best goggles I've had in many years. While the regular Kaiman is very good, the Kaiman Exo is even better. These goggles are pretty low profile and do a great job of staying on. I never have to adjust them during a 90 minute practice. They're also soft and comfortable and, best of all, the bridge is fairly soft and doesn't dig into my nose like most goggles do. I am going to stick with these for quite a while. ... show more

  • Too large for narrow faces
Color: Smoke/Silver/Black
I've been on the hunt for swim goggles that fit without digging into my eye sockets and giving me raccoon eyes &/or headaches. I've used primarily Aquasphere goggles color the past several years as they were the only ones that didn't leak since I have a very narrow face. I thought I'd found the solution with these, as they fit wrong the eye instead of into the eye socket. But they lost suction and started leaking badly after only 3 weeks of use. And of course I waited too long to return them. So bummed! I give them 2 stars simply because I don't think they're defective, they just aren't right for very small faces. BUT I tried the women's Michael Phelps Aquasphere goggles and I absolutely LOVE them enough that I bought an extra pair to leave in my swim bag as a backup pair just in case. ... show more

  • Kaiman Exo might last longer than the Kayenne
Color: Clear/Blue/White
I believe it's too soon to tell, but these goggles fit just as nicely as their Kayenne counterpart. The differences between the two that I have found are: Kaiman Exo: Adjust strap by force, there is no button. The rubber clip on the side is sufficient in holding the rubber in place. Conforms to face same as the Kayenne. Rubber feels stiffer than Kayenne. Perhaps the longevity will be greater? Longevity: Unknown. Kayenne: Adjust the strap by the quick release? button. Can tighten on the fly. Conforms to face same as the Kayenne. Rubber feels pliable/squishy. Longevity: One year. Lens/rubber leaking. Use:Chlorinated water. Usage Hrs: 80-100? ... show more

  • Wide view lens but with a pinch
I like the field of vision and the tent. They allow me to see what is all around me which is perfect for open water swims (or swimming next to an opponent in the pool!). I was wearing the Speedo Vanquisher before these with no complaints. A friend got these and loved them so I tried them and like the wider field of view. The only thing that I have had to adjust to is the way they seal to my face. When I have my swim cap on the way I usually wear it (down on my forehead), the skin between the top of the goggle and the bottom of the cap pinches a little bit. I have adjusted by pulling the swim cap up farther and back on my temple more. Other than that one thing I have really liked these. I wore them on a 1.2 mile open water swim in very heavy current and they worked amazingly well. ... show more
