new features. The pencil2 wont work on the ipad pro so i had to buy a pencil pro. Cha ching. New features are very nice with my 2024 m4 2024 ipad pro. If you have an ipad pro, you will be suckt into buying this pencil-you need it.

I use this mainly for taking notes as my iPad is a lot easier to carry around than my laptop. The battery life is long lasting and charges very fast once connected to the side of the iPad Pro. Very well made, good quality product and works very well. The pencil is lightweight and really offers a good product for the price that it is at. ... show more

    • Works Great Once We Figured it Out Together
I couldn't get the Apple Pencil Pro to connect no matter how hard I tried. I stuck it onto the camera side of my iPad Air and it didn't hold. I stuck it to the other side and it held, but only in small portion and would dangle off of the iPad (I believe these are the magnetics to connect to the keyboard). I restarted the iPad multiple times and updated the iOS and nothing, the pairing menu wouldn't show up. I finally decided to watch a video tutorial, and they showed to put the pencil on the camera side, as I had done the first time. I put it on again, camera side, and this time, it stuck, paired, and started charging. Anyway, it works great if you don't have an USB situation (stick it in one way, it won't go in, turn it around, it won't go in, turn it back around, suddenly it works). (Pressure sensitivity works great, writes well. I have a first generation Apple Pencil from an older iPad and this works just as well. But I do think that the fully cylindrical design of the first generation is more comfortable in the hand) ... show more
