These things don't work, can barely get them to play music (barely) tried with different headphones and still playing through the speaker sometimes since the phone won't recognize or pick up that the headphones were plugged in. Don't even bother taking a call because they won't work at all tried with mine and wife's phone. I Would give zero stars if I could. I use this with a brand new iPhone and I could hear static when my headphones moved around and I was not able to hear or use the headphones for talking or answering a phone call. If I was on the internet I could hear but could not turn up the volume. I recently purchase Apples headphones which I do not have to use the connector and everything works. Terrible. Metal part broke off on both right away. Very cheap. Don’t buy. Lucky I got the metal piece out of my iPad. Get wireless headphones, but if you must use these, get a better more expensive brand, or the ones made by Apple. I got a different brand that is grey and flexible and so far stronger and have held up. I have two, so should hold up till my daughter opens her wireless headphones for Christmas. We bought these so my daughter could use her standard headphones with her iphone on a trip we were taking. The 1st adaptor stopped working in less than an hour. The 2nd one had stopped working by the time we reached our destination. I wound up buying her much more expensive iphone compatible headphones, which is exactly what I was trying to avoid doing. Both pairs had the Apple connector break off within 24 hours. I’m just trying to listen to my audiobook over here 😭 it’s a thriller and inappropriate for my kiddo who is near me. But seriously. These are trash. Do not buy.
