Every year in December my aunt would come into town and she would bring porcelain Christmas ornaments for us to paint. We spent a good part of a day painting them, drinking hot cocoa, and listening to Christmas music. We painted many ornaments over the years and we still have many that get hung on the tree every year. I decided to carry on this tradition now that I have kids of my own and these paints are exactly what we used growing up. They're inexpensive, the color is vibrant, and the paint dries quickly so it's good for kids. Washes up easily too. This pack is good to get started. It has all the basic colors but you'll find yourself buying the metallic paints to add some pizazz. I got these when they were 20$ so I would say it’s a pretty good value for the money, I think if they’re listed for any more you could just look for paint in person. Usually my number #1 fear when getting paint is that it’s super watered down but these aren’t too bad. You could certainly get higher quality paint but this is a good middle-ground. ... show more
