So far so good! It has some worn scratches and dents on the edges like maybe it fell a good few times. Still not noticeable. There is an issue with the battery which I can see being a long-term problem but being mindful of the battery it still last a good decent while. I purchased this MacBook to help complete normal tasks like creating documents, browsing the internet and watching YouTube. Over the first few weeks I noticed the fan cooling the computer was a bit louder than expected but i thought to myself, it's a used computer, it's not going to be perfect. As the weeks and months go on I found the computer working REALLY hard when only a few separate programs were running. Then shortly after, the battery would last less than two hours before needing to get plugged in again. It has been less than 6 months since receiving this computer and I am basically tethered to a plug and have to keep my patience when a multiple programs are running at the same time. The return/warranty window was 90 days and being just outside of that, they are not interested in helping me exchange this for something at equal value - even though the product is clearly at the end of its life. I am not one to write reviews (positive or negative) but I don't want anyone else making the same mistake as me. If you plan to buy a "Renewed Product" either prepare to suffer or plan to return/exchange before that 90 day window closes so you're not stuck in the same situation as me. If the seller sees this and would like to offer an exchange, I'll happily change my review, otherwise I would avoid these used products. ... show more

First time purchasing a refurbished laptop. Didn't have extremely high expectations considering some recent reviews from the refurbished marketplace BUT I was surprised. I purchased the macbook pro in excellent condition and it came secured in bubble wrap, Amazon could have done a better job with packaging but laptop came with no noticeable damage and is in overall good shape: it does have some cosmetic damage, dents around sides, some keyboard keys used heavily and not replaced (letters wearing off), and it needed a good clean, very dusty and screen was smudged (this is just being nitpicky). Battery life seems good, laptop doesn't get hot, screen size is a little small but I did order the smaller 13" screen but I'm not complaining, weight is a bit heavier than it looks but it seems like an overall quality build. Overall for the price paid in comparison to a new macbook, I'm pleased with it. Seems to be a well taken care of computer and seller was true to word on the majority of the condition, only complaint would be cosmetics versus functionality but again, it is a used laptop so I'll take my wins here. Il be honest, when I first saw all these reviews I got a little scared and it felt like a gamble. But I received mine in perfect condition. When it arrived it was packaged well. The charger looks and works like a brand new one. There were ZERO scratches and the battery works great. The battery last around 6-7 hours which is pretty good for work. Ease of use. The screen is absolutely gorgeous and had zero scratches. Okay now to the part that we are all waiting for. The Keyboard is amazing it feels high quality and doesn’t have any signs of being used. Touch Bar feels amazing (Definitely worth getting). 13 inch is a perfect size laptop. It is not too heavy or too light. You can really feel apples high quality. It literally looks brand new.
