Got this for the side of our backyard that is chain link and meets our neighbors fence line. One of their dogs is a chihuahua and will bark until his lungs give out(unfortunately, they never do). Didn't like that to secure it tight I had to poke holes so I could use extra ties cause if don't the wind blows out in it and it looks terrable

It is probably cheapest type privacy screen you will find, but as their ad copy states, expected service life is 3yr. I cant say one way or another on accuracy of this estimate, as only time will tell. But as long as you buy it with limited life expectations, its ok. Personally I think black maybe not greatest color due to sun degradation. Black I think is going to degrade faster than a lighter color. And its going to depend on your local climate and whether its in shaded area or full out summer sun. With limited life, it also is guaranteed to generate plastic waste at end of its relatively short life. Thats the downside as I see it. But as say if you need quick cheap privacy screen, this is probably it. Wrong time of year to test effectiveness as my garden is finished, but my personal use will be to cover my garden fence, both to limit deer line of sight, and keep out rabbits. I dont think rabbits would try to chew through it. Again time will tell, but thats why I got it. Other uses maybe become apparent over time. ... show more

This is really easy to set up on existing posts/chain fence. You can definitely do it yourself, but it's a lot easier if you can get a second person to help. It looks nice once finished, provides a good amount of privacy, and also provides a little bit of shade, depending on the sun angle. I like that it makes it harder for random strangers to agitate the dogs (with the plain chain link, every person out walking, minding their own business could potentially set them off, and some of the kids intentionally poked sticks and stuff through the fence to bother them), and also offers privacy when I want to be out in my own yard, reading a book and catching some sun. ... show more

    • Quickly give any enclosed space some privacy

Was quite easy to install. We have an above ground pool in the backyard, which all the neighbors are able to see due to mainly having only chain link fences. Not too big a deal, but it does get annoying when every single one of their dogs is out and barking at us while trying to enjoy the pool. This privacy tarp went up quickly, and now the dogs get bored of barking at just sounds since they can't see us anymore pretty quickly, allowing us to enjoy the pool more, and probably causing less stress on some of those dogs. The tarp seems to be a high enough quality to last their advertised 3 years of life, although since it's just secured with zip ties it might last longer if I take it down during the winter months when the pool is not in use and therefore the privacy isn't needed as much. Eyelets every foot or so, so you can really get it nice a secured, even in higher winds like we start to get during the spring/fall months. ... show more

This windscreen is on par with others I have tried. Sturdy, easy to install and provides enough blockage to help with nosy neighbors and barking dogs. It comes with zip ties which are ok quality but the finished install looks nice. I received the package but it only contains zip ties. The privacy fence is not in the box. The description says privacy fence, gloves and zip ties. So I’m missing the privacy fence and gloves.
