This baby doll was a gift for my 10-yr old niece who had been wishing for a "realistic look" baby doll . It is perfect! There are so many of these "realistic look babies" out there these days, and many are indeed freakishly life-like.... so much so, that it's scary to play with them. This baby doll has an adorable face, sweet and innocent, and its face looks like it should-- a toy, not a real baby! The body of the doll is about the size of a newborn, and weighs approx 1 lb...which makes it easy to carry around. My niece LOVES this doll, and has been enjoying playing dress-up with some of her old baby clothes. It's her favorite doll by far, and I highly recommend! ... show more

Original Review: We purchased this baby doll as a birthday gift for my 4 year old daughter on June 1st. About 3 weeks after purchasing this doll my daughter noticed that the middle finger of the dolls right hand was tearing at the knuckle and was about to come off. Unfortunately the finger did wind up coming all the way off. My husband was able to super glue this finger back on to a useable state, but cautioned my daughter to be very gentle with that finger when playing with her doll. We noticed this week that the same exact issue was happening to the pinky finger of the right hand of the baby doll as well. This finger has not come off yet but has a sizable split in it and could fall off in the future. My daughter does not play rough with this baby doll at all and has been extremely gentle with changing her outfits, feeding her, putting her in the crib, etc. and she is absolutely devastated that her new baby doll has not one, but two “broken” fingers. As a parent, I am extremely disappointed this this has happened twice and we have not even had this doll for 2 months yet. The quality of the doll otherwise is wonderful: very life like, beautiful eyes and eyelashes, attention to detail like her painted fingernails and hair are adorable. Unfortunately I can't say the same for the durability of the baby doll. My daughter loves this doll, but is really upset that she can no longer play with it because she is afraid another finger will wind up broken on her baby doll. Based on our experience with this doll, I would not recommend purchasing it unless you do not plan to have your child play with it. **Update** The seller contacted me the same day this review was posted. They took time to address and correct the issue. Seller was very sympathetic and apologized about the quality of the doll we received. Best of all, they offered to send my daughter a brand new baby doll, with expedited shipping! Fantastic customer service! We received the doll 2 days after talking with the seller. My daughter is absolutely THRILLED!! I appreciate the seller taking the time to fix this issue. You have made my daughter so very happy!     • My daughter is thrilled
I’m impressed with this doll, it’s quite cute and life like. The price was fair for the quality. The clothes and accessories are adorable and soft. The doll came tied in the box with a ribbon which is a sweet touch but before giving this to my daughter I removed the tissue paper from the doll’s body. I like that the hair is painted on, much better than the wig look some other dolls have and also much better for my daughter who somehow destroys doll hair every time. The only fault I can find with this doll is that the color accent on her forehead is a bit too intense but at this point that’s just looking for something wrong. My daughter is 6 and she wanted something more lifelike and this doll is perfect for her, she loves it. She was in awe over the little fingers and toes just like a real baby and she loves the vinyl body so she can give it a bath. ... show more

Came exactly as described and pictured! There are so many scams on baby dolls lately that I searched for hours, reading tons of reviews for the right baby doll that would come as it says, and this one was definitely the right choice. Some are unhappy with the painted on hair, but honestly we haven't had much luck with baby doll hair because it gets unmanageable so quickly so that was one of the selling points for us. Also, it fits newborn size clothes perfectly so I was able to purchase cheap secondhand baby clothes for our doll so my daughter has lots of options. I have one very happy 8 year old! ... show more
