    • Decent cheap monitor with one odd flaw: Now power button

This monitor is one of the cheapest monitors you can find with these specs. It works well, and I did not have any issues with the image quality. But I am using it mostly connected to small servers with simple black/white text terminal output. The adjustments are reasonable. Power is supplied by an external "wall wart" style power supply, So you may need enough space in your power strip for it. The stand works well, but I am using a VESA mount that also attached without issues. Its very light weight makes it easy to mount on a monitor arm. The only flaw I found, but it is significant to me: The monitor does not have a power switch. It may trun to "sleep" if the computer goes to sleep, but in my use case, having it connected to a server, that doesn't work and the only way for me to turn the monitor off is to unplug power. I purchased this for my dad who needed a larger monitor with better clarity. I was extremely impressed with the ease of setup. It was identified by the gpu immediately and switched to 100hz. I highly recommend this monitor for a main or secondary monitor.

I bought this to use as a second monitor for my PC that I've had since 2022 and it couldn't even accomplish that. I tried repeatedly to get the PC to detect the monitor and did everything I could think of, including updating drivers and using different HDMI cords and nothing would work. I had given up at that point and my final idea was to try connecting it to my laptop from 2017 which gave me the same issue that my pc was giving me, meaning it was most likely an issue with the monitor itself rather than my PC. I don't know if I just got a defective copy or something, but I would not recommend this based on my experiences ... show more
