First off let me say that it seems that the folks that design cars never want to make it easy to do it yourself. Almost every car I’ve had, changing lightbulbs can be problematic due to tight working conditions. With that being said, the Low Beam (H11) bulbs were fairly easy to install on my 2012 Toyota Prius. The High Beam bulbs (9005) were not so easy, even though access to the location of the socket was better, trying to get the bulb seated in place was very difficult. All the bulbs are “Keyed” with three tabs that fit into three slots and then a 1/4 and the bulb is in. But the metal ring that has the tabs is not fixed to the rest of the bulb, like in the low beam bulb, and so as I was trying to insert it the bulb the ring would move and not line up with the slots. In fact it fell of once and I had to fish for it down in the engine compartment and put it back on. I’m not sure why it is a separate piece, unless it allows for this bulb to be used in more than just the 9005 replacement bulb. Anyway once I got them all in place and plugged in, you may need to flip the electrical harness around as it does matter which way it plugs in, even though it will plug either way, it only works one way. Once all that was done the lights came on and were nice and bright and did a great job. Much brighter and easier to see with than the halogen bulbs they replaced. My only other criticism would be that when it is quiet, you can hear the fan noise, despite the fact that the description says the fans are quiet. They are not so loud that as I’m driving down the road I can hear them, but when I pull in to park and before I shut the car off, you can clearly hear them running. This could be an annoyance, if you have the habit of sitting in the car at idle with the lights on. It is not enough to make me not want to use them, but it is noticeable. I like the bright white of the 6000K Bulbs and the long life of LED bulbs. So overall I would recommend the low beams whole heartedly, and the high beam placement issue, might of just been me, but it was frustrating! ... show more

REVIEW FOR 2018 FORD F 150 I recently installed a set of LED headlights from AOLEAD on a 2018 Ford F 150 and I could not be happier. I was initially concerned because a customer on Amazon posted a review indicating that the lights would not fit on a 2016 Ford F 150. I’m not quite sure what was the issue for this customer but the lights went in flawlessly for me. There is a little bit of manipulating of the tabs to line them up so they lock in place. Then you just rotate the LED to face the 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock position. I installed the extended dust covers from KOOMTOOM (AMAZON purchase) to allow extra breathing room for the light. You will need a 83 mm for a 2018 Ford F 150. The lights came well packaged surrounded by foam and contained simple and easy to follow directions. I can’t figure out why these lights are so inexpensive. It is a matter of time before the price goes up. It’s really pretty much a risk free purchase considering the fact you get a two-year warranty. Don’t delay buy now before the price goes up. The light quality is exceptional. The lights will not be too bright for oncoming traffic as long as your headlights are adjusted appropriately. The proper adjustment should be 2 to 4 inches low from the high cut off line at 25 feet. See YouTube for further details. The fans are quiet and you can barely hear them. You will not be able to hear them in the cab of your vehicle with the motor running. You almost need to put your ear to the lights with the vehicle off to hear the fan. I live out in the country and these lights will help see deer and other critters that like to run out in the roadway at the last moment.     • Did not work properly for 2016 Jeep Cherokee even with a Can-Bus

Unfortunately, the AOLEAD 9005/HB3 LED Headlight Bulbs did not work for my 2016 Jeep Cherokee. The Jeep Cherokee has a sensitive computer system that didn't recognize the LED bulbs. Without the can-bus only one bulb would work and the other would shut off immediately. With the can-buses installed the LEDs worked and where bright but the computer in the car would say the low beam headlight was out. I believe this is because even with the Can-buses the LED Bulbs still draw less wattage than the halogen bulbs. The halogen bulbs draw 65 watts each whereas these LED Bulbs draw only 30 watts each bulb. Even with the can-bus the bulbs are not drawing the same wattage as the halogen bulbs. My solution was to find LED Bulbs that drew higher wattage, and they still needed a can-bus for them to work properly and I have tried a few different LED Bulbs. ... show more

Purchased these bulbs for my Kia Sorento. After installing, one of the bulbs didn't work as it should. The vendor was very responsive to my Emails, and quickly sent a replacement. Excellent customer service, and the bulbs now look great.

Because one of my lights burned out I ordered these LED replacements. They are so much brighter than original lights. The lane markers and reflective signs really shine. The installation on my Tundra had an added challenge. Due to the deeper body of the light with fans, I had to remove headlight screws to slightly reposition them as I angled the headlamp in the socket. Not too big of a deal. Maybe five extra min to install. I am happy with performance but cannot speak to longevity yet. ... show more

Great value, easy to install once I realized the direction ring was able to be rotated haha, very bright. Much better than my original but I’m not sure how old my previous lights were, but definitely an improvement. Also just to make note, the negative and positive connectors are different sizes, same with my car, except my large connector and small connector were different colors than on the light. But it does say to reverse polarity if light doesn’t turn on so that let me know it was ok to wire it with what fits even though the colors were opposite. ... show more
