I've been using the AOBEN 21V Cordless Impact Wrench for a few weeks now, and it’s been a fantastic addition to my toolkit. The 400N.m max torque is more than enough for most of my needs, whether I'm working on cars or doing some heavy-duty DIY projects. The 3000rpm speed really gets the job done quickly. The 4.0Ah Li-ion battery lasts long enough for me to complete my tasks without needing a recharge, and when it does need charging, the fast charger gets it back to full power surprisingly quickly. I recently purchased the AOBEN 21V Cordless Impact Wrench and I am extremely impressed with its performance. I would give this product a rating of 5 out of 5. The main strengths of this impact wrench is its good power . It makes quick work of loosening and tightening bolts, saving me a lot of time and effort. The 4.0Ah Li-ion battery lasts a long time and charges quickly with the included fast charger. The 6Pcs driver sockets are convenient and the tool bag keeps everything organized. This tool works well for tire removal and install. I have done complete brake jobs on all 4 wheels of 3 cars and a pickup and several other repair jobs with no issues. It removed the lug nuts with ease. I only run the lug nuts back up snug with this and completed the final tightening with a torque wrench. The only draw back is with this is the lengthy charging times. I purchased an additional battery with it so this hasn't caused any issues but it does take awhile to completely charge. This was mainly purchased to keep in my car for emergency use due to frequent winter travel in northern parts of the country. ... show more

I wanted one of these so I could do general maintenance on my vehicles without having to use my air impact and compressor. I removed wheels from two different vehicles,both of which had the wheels previously installed by a tire shop and were torqued. This tool removed the lug nuts with no problem. Upon reinstalling the wheels,I rechecked the torque by hand which is good practice no matter what you use to install the lugs. This tool is lightweight and performs great for my needs. Mine came in a plastic case with a small variety of sockets and everything needed to charge the battery. I’m not sure how well it would hold up in a professional shop environment. But I don’t think someone in that field would be looking at this particular item. For the price, it will make my occasional brake repairs and tire rotations much easier. ... show more

    • Good for the money, especially if you don't have a lot of it!
It does have a bit of torque adjustment, but I suggest when you use it to tighten, just bump the bolts snug and finish by hand. It will round the bolt head or even snap it off with a quickness if you are not careful. I'm not a professional mechanic just work on my own scooter. I would recommend it to anyone like me who doesn't really have the money for a Dewalt or Milwaukee or the like. ... show more

I purchased this just before changing the rear shocks on my wife's 2013 Grand Caravan SE and used it for such. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that if your tires are torqued at more than 100 ft. lbs., this will not pull them off. I also attempted to use this to remove the bolts on the old shocks - no joy. In fairness, the shocks were original parts, so I can't really fault it too much for that. However, after cleaning the bolts and putting in the new shocks, I used this gun to 'bottom-out' the bolts until I could torque the bolts to specs. It did put them in tighter than the 55 ft. lbs. specs called for, so I backed them out a bit and used the torque wrench after. When I put the tires in, I used this for that purpose and it put them in between 90 and 100 ft. lbs. All in all, it's okay to use this, but if you've got original parts still on a vehicle that is 10 or more years old, you'll definitely want to use something more powerful - perhaps a 1/2" air wrench or you can do what I did which is to have a Bauer 1/2" electric (corded) impact wrench for the heavy lifting. Again, in fairness, I still had problems removing the bolt using that tool. For putting tires on and for newer cars, I can see this working well. Otherwise, it's just 'okay'. Next time, I'll try something more powerful, though. UPDATE: After continuing to use this impact wrench for other work that was needed on my wife's car, I'm going to 'up' the star rating from 3 to 4. This does break away bolts that are torqued at around 108 ft. lbs. with little issue. However, I would recommend something with a bit more power if your looking to break bolts that are torqued at 120 ft. lbs. or more. This may do it, but it will likely strain to do it. Also, the battery life is very good. I purchased two batteries and I've used this for three weekends in a row without it needing a charge (it still shows a full charge). I will continue to use this until it doesn't work anymore. Would I buy another one - or, recommend it to a friend? For smaller vehicle work and mower work - sure! However, I will look for a 500 ft. lbs break-away torque ceiling, not a 300 ft. lbs. device. Of course, "your mileage may vary". ... show more

Having this compact drilled has been a great. It's save me time and it efficiently did what I need to do. Working on my vehicle has been time saving and knowing that everything is done right and secure. The torque is just right. Is very comfortable and is not heavy. Is duable very versatile to use.
