This is because I would always find one more tool to shove in my tool box that I might need and it would get very heavy. This box is not meant for very heavy.     • Good capacity, not the best durability
I don't do a lot of work with tools, I just have a few basic sets for quick fixes, and I wanted a toolbox to put all my tools in one place. This box certainly does that, and has enough room for my limited collection of tools. The box is still made of mostly plastic though, and the side latches on the top of the box are flimsy, one of them broke off less than a month of very light usage. So if you don't need the extra storage for small items built into the top of this box, this is a solid purchase to organize your tools, otherwise, I would look for a better-built toolbox. ... show more

    • Good box bad latches on lid.
Latch on top of box does not latch properly and tools fall out when you open lid. Had to remove tools from that area.

This item is very strong and it does not move when I stand on it. Its really strong. The only problem I have is that the gray locking mechanism on top that stores small items, looks and feels very weak and fragile. The tool box will last years, but that gray mechanism might not last a month

My husband would drag tools in from his work bench in the garage to the house for projects. There would be piles of tools thar didn't always get picked up. And at times some got misplaced. Looks to be well made! I was able to store my hand trim router & attachments. Also used the tray to store my dowel drilling fixture and two bags of dowels. Still have storage room in the two top lid compartments. I should get many years use from this tool box.

    • plastic, smaller than it looks
I like the metal clamps, however the plastic top pieces that covers small storage pockets are super flimsy and I do not expect them to last. holds a few tools, good for screwdrivers and such.
