I got this for my 5 yr old son as his 1st game system. He absolutely loves it!!! Lots of games including a few different Super Mario Bros. It's fun being able to hook it up to the TV and play Super Mario Bros 3 together! Picture quality is just like when the games originally came out. Battery life is amazing! Charge for 2 hours and then have several hours of play. We have had where the battery started to die while playing on the TV. We disconnected from the TV but kept the game still on the console and put it on the charger. Gave it an hour and hooked back to the TV so we could continue where we left off. Only con is the included cord to hook to the TV is so short you would literally have to be against the TV to play. I ended up having to spend another $20 to get a cord extender and hdmi converter. ... show more

Made from cheap plastic. It wouldn't have lasted long in my earlier rage video game heyday, but this is pretty decent. You get all these games for a cheap price. It has some weird knock off games but that is to be expected. All in all it's worth the money. There are lots of different classic games on this, but don't expect incredible games or sounds. The graphics are very choppy and the sounds very simple notes. The device itself is totally playable however with the buttons being very responsive. Overall this is a good little video game for the price.
