I ordered these to replace the bulbs in the cargo light on my truck. When I installed them they worked great. The next day I tried them to see if they still worked. They just barely lit up. I thought maybe it was a bad connection so I took them out and reinstalled them. The same thing happened. They worked fine until the next day when I tried them again and again, the same thing happened. I took them out a third time and reinstalled them only this time they barely lit up. I took them out and hooked them directly to the battery and they lit up bright like they did before. So, I am giving it three stars because I do not know if the problem is with the bulbs or with the power. ... show more

Update 5.22: No issues, very pleased. Purchased Nov 2018. So far I'm really pleased. I didn't want to spend tons of money, read a bunch of reviews, wanted something that was brighter and whiter than stock incandescent bulbs. But also clean and tidy inside the bulb housing. These meet my needs and expectations and really help me see 'beside/behind' in the dark rain while backing down a narrow driveway. Can't speak to how long they will last yet... Update - 1st bulb already died at less than a year old. Luckily there were two so hopefully the second one will last longer. Got this to replace the 912 bulb on my trailer porch light. I was looking for low lumen bulb and this was the lowest I could find in an led light. But it is really bright still, much brighter than the standard 912 bulb. The light through my amber lens is not as orange as it was, it is now a bright barely yellow light so we will see when bug season gets here if it will attract bugs. It was easy to install. Just be aware that 1000 lumens is still pretty bright (and I know they say bright in their description but most other LEDs were even higher lumens). ... show more

Bright and White ... The install was easy once i figured out how to remove the housing, 3 bolts and push down and out. They work great as you can see in the pictures. The first picture is with the Old and New bulbs in daylight. Happy I installed these! I will also get a set for my Nissan Titan :).

I'm using this in an 2012 Acura MDX for the reverse lights and I can finally SEE! I've try other LEDs as well as regular bulbs and I've not been able to see anything out of the back window or mirrors when in reverse in total darkness. That also renders the backup camera useless. BUT with these bulbs, I'm finally able to see light behind my vehicle. It was rather shocking the first time I used them at night. I was totally surprised and happy. I do recommend these but I'm on the hunt for even more brightness - and will enjoy these for now. ... show more

Just installed based on reviews that they work well and work long. I will update the review if they do not last. I am in northeast and it is winter, so good testing conditions. Very bright, very easy install. Just make sure you research which bulbs you actually need. I have a 2014 tundra, and had to order a couple different style bulbs for the truck all around.     • ALMOST STARTED MY TRUCK ON FIRE!

DO NOT BUY THESE BULBS!!! To start off, I am a professional auto tech/mechanic. I was going to replace the map/dome lights in my F350 with these LEDs. The first one installed fine, but when I plugged in the second one a piece on the exposed circuit board literally started on fire and popped off and flew down onto the rubber floor mat...still on fire. Luckily it didn't land on a seat or carpet, otherwise it would have started a fire. And luckily it happened when I was there, and not after I walked away for the evening or something. I wanted to replace the dated and dull bulbs in the third brake light on my 98 mustang. It is hard to tell in the photo, but the left side is the incandescent bulb and the right side is the RED color LED. Believe me, in person, this thing is bright! I tested this in my garage but I assume there will be no issue being seen outside in daylight. The next change for me will be the taillights! ... show more
