I wish I would have ordered these months ago. My 14 year old pup has arthritis and nerve damage in his back legs. He often drags one leg and slides on my vinyl floor because of these issues and having no traction. A couple of weeks ago he suddenly was walking obviously worse than normal. He had a really hard time balancing, falling, legs sliding, etc. The way he was walking looked like he was drunk. My husband and I rushed him to the emergency vet. He has a compressed disk in his neck and that seemed to be causing these newer issues. The vet sent us home with medication, but I also went a step further and ordered these. These are absolutely amazing. I have used them for 3 weeks and feel like I can give better feedback. The first set we put on lasted for a good five days. I find it easier to cut each piece and apply them to the individual pads vs applying the whole piece as one. Some pieces came off in 2-3 days and some actually lasted a full 7. They say they come off easily with water but I still found them hard to peel off even soaking them, but with some work they came off. I do think they made his paws pretty dry, so I added some paw butter/wax to moisturize. I waited a few hours before applying new stickers. That wasn't a great idea because they wouldn't stick at all. The paws need to be 100% COMPLETELY dry or they won't stay on. If you put them on dry they will last 3-5 days. These have helped my senior pup tremendously. I will continue using them as long as I am blessed to have him. HIGHLY recommend if you pet struggles with traction on slick floors. My pup doesn't even notice they are on. ... show more

These work great indoors. My golden is afraid of slipping on my new vinyl flooring and these work great for her. They last several days if she doesn’t go outside much for a walk or in the wet grass. They don’t stay if so. She doesn’t mind them at all. But they have helped her to get used to the slippery floor. I also have to keep the hair on her pads trimmed otherwise these stick to that and are hard to remove if necessary. ... show more

I have bought these twice. At first they were great for my senior dog and stayed on. The second time I bought them which was in June, and they are HORRIBLE!! They come off the same day that you put them on. I did everything the instructions said and they still come off! Not as described on the website. For the high cost of them they don’t last long. When they work, they're a game-changer! I've bought this product twice: * The first set of pads (L) stuck to my dog's feet really well and helped him a lot. The adhesive was so strong that the pads stayed on his paws for a few days. When they needed to get changed out I could do this easily by wetting the pads. * I decided to try the next size up (XL) to get better coverage. This set of pads had the worst adhesive. They didn't even last an hour. It seems like the quality of the adhesive with this product is unreliable. ... show more

Don’t normally leave reviews but really want to say that these are so helpful for my senior dog that has back leg stability issues and hip problems. His bag legs always slide out from under him when he walks or is trying to get up. With these paw pads, he can stand for an extended period of time like he used to be able to! He has no problem getting up and no struggling to keep his legs on the ground. He was even able to get up the stairs by himself! It has been amazing to watch him act as he did a few years ago. I can tell he feels the difference and has more will and energy to do things now. These are a life saver and life changer! Will continue to purchase. While the traction pads did actually give our dog more stability on the tile and hardwood floors, they would come off very quickly, sometimes within a couple of hours. I tried putting them on whole and cutting them as individual pad stickers. Maybe I would try a smaller size but they aren't worth it if they don't stay on even a day. ... show more

    • Far better than boots for indoors on hard wood floors

These are way better than boots for my dogs. One has a step like a girl in high heels and the boots do not stay on those little narrow feet. The other has wider and hairy paws, but these still worked. You have to trim the hair around the paws if that is what your dog has. They even stayed on well after getting wet. I think if I had also cleaned the paw pads with 70% alcohol they would stay on even better. I got them for an old dog that was slipping on the hardwood floors. These are much better than boots for indoors - much better! ... show more

I bought this for my older little Pomeranian. Her back kneecaps are displaced and she has trouble getting up and getting traction to start moving. I cut these up and didn’t use the full sticker because she is small, but they worked great.
