Our 7 lb chihuahua loves this dog cave. Even though he is quite small we got the large because we wanted him to have room to turn around and feel comfortable. We do put some sherpa baby blankets in there to create a nice nest. The bottom pad is removable and washable, but it does not really go back to the same length afterwards - puffs a bit. So it does not fit the bottom exactly anymore. We ended up replacing the original pillow with a pillow we could adjust to control the amount of fill: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B086X6W1VF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1 We put the bed on top of a memory foam pad (Dream On Crib mattress pad) and it keeps it off the floor and creates a stable foundation for the dog house. As the bed started to sag in the front over time we added a copper wire we bent into a horseshoe shape - taped the ends together at the bottom. It now is completely upright in the correct shape. It is a great bed and our dog loves it. We are happy with the purchase and our dog stays comfortable and warm inside it. ... show more

I purchased this product because I noticed my 18 year old chihuahua seeking “cover”. With his eyesight and hearing deteriorating, he needed a space to feel “Safe”. The ANPPEX Indoor Dog House was the perfect solution. I had to nudge him inside the first time, but I had gotten a larger size and put his bed inside. So he knew after the first time, that this was his new home. Though it’s not completely sturdy, it worked out to my advantage as I was able to put it under my dresser which is 18” off the ground. Too flimsy! It looks pretty and sets up pretty nicely, but when my cat got in and slept for a few, the whole thing just lost it’s form. Doesn’t look good, it’s pretty cozy and comfy, but akwsrd looking to say the least. Going back.
