Very nicely made and comfortable for the dog but, bought the large and my 17lb Jack Russell doesn’t completely fit. Her head hangs out and she is not a big dog. She is terrified of fireworks, gunshots and thunder. Bought this to help her endure 4th of July. Everyone is allowed to shoot off fireworks where we live and it sounds like D day around our neighborhood for the summer holidays. It took her a while to get used to it and give it a try. I learned from other dog beds that I have purchased washing them removes any scary smells that may have been picked up during production and shipping. Makes a huge difference in their acceptance of the bedding. Had one bed that is now her favorite that neither of my dogs would go near until I washed it in fragrance free laundry detergent. This washes and assembles beautifully. She now goes in her house every night and during the day if there are storms. I have just ordered a bigger soft dog house and we will see if she likes it as well, or better. My advice, order larger than you think you need unless your pet prefers confinement for security. ... show more

This little house was used for 7 outdoor kittens in a pen purchased on Amazon too. The kits like to climb on it which causes it to collapse so we got a plastic tote, cut one end out and stuck it in the house. Suggest the manufacturer add 3 rods to bend to fit in an arch to keep the house in shape. Otherwise it’s very nice! ... show more

I have a standard size dashchund who is quite clever and picky. He DOVE into this bed when he saw it and he loves it completely. He is 14 years old and bouncing around like a 2 year old. It has been a few days and he is still happy. Also he has stopped waking up at night because he is warm. I put a small blanket inside for him to crawl under. I purchased this product because I noticed my 18 year old chihuahua seeking “cover”. With his eyesight and hearing deteriorating, he needed a space to feel “Safe”. The ANPPEX Indoor Dog House was the perfect solution. I had to nudge him inside the first time, but I had gotten a larger size and put his bed inside. So he knew after the first time, that this was his new home. Though it’s not completely sturdy, it worked out to my advantage as I was able to put it under my dresser which is 18” off the ground.
