The clasps that attach the flag to the pole are of a very strong, non-flexible metal. I absolutely could not get the flag attached with just my fingers and hands. Even when I got a pair of pliers to force the clips open, it was still a struggle. But I did succeed and the flag is properly attached and ready to hang. The circle attachment adjusted perfectly in order to adjust to the flag. It looks great! ... show more

Very nice pole, I recommend it, but I have to say the package it came in just, there is no words for it. The pole came in a 12 inch wide by 58 inch box, the box was tore up, there was no packing material in the box, and pole was just thrown in the oversized box. The post office said it was torn up because the box was so big and empty, hollow. I mean could you not come up with a sleeve packaging for this item. So I say pole was nice, but packaging stunk.
