Living in Texas, and especially how this summer has been (over 100 for past 3 months), you better have a sun shield or you need "oven mitts" to drive! LOL I hate the fold up circle ones (my husband has that one), and can never figure out to fold it correctly. I have used the "accordion" style ones for most of my life. But, problem with those is they wear out and soon, don't STAY upright in window anymore. And with this heat, with the shield drooping, it defeated the purpose. So, I was soo happy to see this design! When I received it, I immediately wanted to put it in my car, which sits in the driveway all day! At first, it really does look like your opening up an umbrella in your car. I drive a crossover SUV and got the Medium one, and fits PERFECT! The cool thing, which could not figure out at first, was being it opened to just a rectangle shape, was how to go around rear view mirror....great design idea...has a zipper in the middle and the velcro that hold the whole thing together, when not in use, now has dual purpose to use at top top of mirror, and velcros around the top of mirror to other side to stay in place! Has been there for 3 days...and thanks to the handle and spring type things (like an umbrella), it stays in place! LOVE it! ... show more

Ordered item in the evening and arrived the next morning b-4 5:00am, who does that? Well andobil does! Not only was the delivery stand alone but the product works as stated keeping my car cool during the day in SW gulf region the leather in my vehicle is 28yrs old and has custom embroidery so with ceramic tint and this covering the front window makes for a cool interior. Very simple to use as well just like an umbrella so it's quick and easy to put away or apply to windshield. If I ever need another for a second vehicle then this is the only one I would buy! ... show more
