I cannot use razors or any other type of buzzers on my head without breaking out. I have used the classic gray plug-in T-liners. My barber wasn’t there and I needed a haircut, so I went to another barber that cut my hair with these Andis Professional GTX-EXO Cordless Trimmer. of course I got the name of them and the rest is history. They are very sharp so you must be careful and know what you are doing. You will not get a closer cut then with these. The best thing about them is that they are wireless in. They cut a lot closer than the traditional gray T-liners. Due to my sensitive scalp, I cannot use razors and buzzers. I wish I could use a razor to get a nice clean bald cut but unfortunately, I cannot because my head will look like a Nestlé crunch bar! 😂 True story. This is the best T-liners on the market. I have not been to my barber in a few months. Including tips, I was paying out $35 a week. My facial hair is very minimal. I just have to trim up my goatee and that’s it. I do not have a bunch of facial hair at all. I don’t when it comes to trimming any facial hair or mustache, these trimmers will do the job. You will not need a razor to clean it up.     • Andis great! Seller, I'm a little disappointed
I love Andis products and have been using for 20+ years. This is an awesome Trimmer! The 5 stars on this review are for Andis! The seller advertised this as the old style with the gold Andis plate on the base and that was the picture on the box, to be fair. So I paid more for this one thinking I was getting that base but it is actually the new base that is black with painted Andis symbol. That was disappointing. I did not contact the seller because at this point returning would be out of the way and the trimmers are great. Just wish I would've gotten the base with it that was advertised since I paid more for it. ... show more

So, truth be told. I did not like them right out the box only because they didn't cut as tight as I wanted them to. Also very rough on the skin. I literally filed down the teeth and adjusted them and boy oh boy do they cut ever so tight without leaving a mark. Smooth like butter. Yes I would buy them again. Awesome product. I actually watched a YouTube video that suggested what I did after he had the same experience. He was right. ... show more

    • Don't over oil these clippers.
Right after the 2 year warranty expired the clippers went dead on me. Come to find out when you oil them too much these trimmers have a sensor that shorts if there's too much oil in the casing. Excellent trimmers but be aware not to let any oil get inside the casing.

Upgraded from corded T-Outliners... Out of the box, they did not hit, so I was nervous. However, after looking at the blade, I realized they were far from being zero gapped (probably for safety.) It took me a couple of min to zero gap them using the mirror method and now they hit so hard and they are so sharp. In fact, I may back them off of zero a little b/c they are so sharp right now. Nevertheless, I am impressed for the price. It was hard for me to upgrade from my corded t-outliners and corded masters to this cordless set b/c I am not a professional and I only cut my own head... But it was totally worth it and I'm annoyed with myself that I didn't do it sooner b/c when you are cutting your own head, sometimes the cord makes it awkward to get certain grips and certain angles, but now I don't have to worry about that any more. I hit my face with some aftershave after shaving and oooohhhh my gawwwd! ... show more

I have used Andis outliners my entire life and have gone through a few pair over the course of 20 years (mostly due to careless use), but these are a gift from above. They work perfectly, have great battery life, and come in a sleek casing that has a modern touch. Anyone looking to upgrade should definitely consider these. FINAL UPDATE: Don’t waste you time or money.. go to your local barber supply and spend the full amount. The clippers are defective. First the metal part shown in picture broke and now the blade broke…. How is that even possible? And if you’re wondering, the clippers were used gently and kept the blade cover on when not in use. Please don’t waste your money with this shop. I thought since it said Andis it was the official shop. It can’t be. Original: Must have been a defect. The metal bar broke which allows clippers to run effectively. Seller would not give a refund even with pictures. Upset since they were costly. Update1: seller only wanted to give $10 refund after I requested the $36 to buy a replacement piece. Update 2: seller agreed to ship the replacement piece but once it arrived the one piece I needed is not included. Still can’t use clippers. Update 3: seller is sending the part needed. Update 4: seller sent out the replacement part needed and a new blade. Finally can use the clippers efficiently. Overall good customer support if you communicate with them. Thanks ... show more
