  • Don't expect to be able to open and close window on this
Length: 1.7ft/52cm
It seemed to work fine, and I was able to get better reception to outside for a month or two until I opened and shut my window a few times, then it just broke. There also didn't seem to be any way to patch it back together that I could see either, as whatever wire it uses must be so small that you cannot really see it, yet I didn't mess with it too much before giving up. Perhaps you could fix it after it breaks but just the fact that it didn't last too long and was more flimsy then i thought-I should've listened to those negative reviews about them being cheap after all. And it was only a 1-pack, so that now I just have a broken thingie. :( If it would've been a 2-pack I could at least be glad about that. Lol... So I hope this helps. ... show more

  • Works like a champ
Length: 1ft/32cm
Great product. Indoor antennas just weren’t working for me, due to poor reception in a 1st floor apartment. Until I stumbled upon this product, I had no idea that flat coax was a “thing”. This jumper has allowed me to use an outdoor antenna without any drilling or other permanent alterations to my apartment. It’s nearly as thin as a sheet of paper, so it does not interfere with closing/locking the window at all. Placing an antenna outside made a huge difference in both channel count and picture quality, so I would highly recommend this flat coax jumper if you need to run coax through an exterior wall for an antenna (or dish, I suppose, but I haven’t tried that). ... show more

  • It works!
Length: 1ft/32cm
We'd had a full diameter antenna wire running through a slightly open window and filled the space with insulating foam. Problem is, the window does not close uniformly without a top and bottom stick applying pressure. With real Winter coming, this became increasingly unacceptable. I purchased this, trimmed the exterior part of the full diameter cable to the correct length, added screw-on connectors to the cut ends, then attached this ribbon cable in between, and viola, we can now close the window properly! The best part is that the signal was not affected in the least. ... show more

  • Faulty unit or flawed design?
Length: 1ft/32cm
I purchased this flat jumper cable to bridge the coaxial cable coming from an outdoor FM antenna to another short length of indoor coaxial cable that connected to a radio that sits on a table next to a window. To avoid drilling a hole through the exterior wall, I hoped to run this flat jumper cable through the window frame. Indeed, this flat jumper cable was flexible enough to conform to the angles of the channel in the window sill, but it was also thin enough to allow the window to fully close and latch with the cable in place. Unfortunately, my flat jumper cable did not effectively transmit the signal from the outdoor antenna. With the flat cable in place, the reception was only very slightly improved (versus no external antenna), but I presume this was due to the short length of indoor coaxial cable itself functioning as a crude, untuned antenna. When I substituted a length of regular coaxial cable, instead of using this flat cable to bridge the outdoor and indoor segments, the radio received numerous clear stations. This test isolated the signal loss to some problem with the flat jumper cable. I did not have a meter to check for continuity, but I suspect I had a faulty unit, given the heavy ratio of otherwise positive reviews. Or, perhaps there is inadequate shielding in this design. I purchased this cable several months ago, but was delayed in setting up the exterior antenna. Moreover, the project was for relatives who live several states away, and I forgot to bring the presumably defective flat jumper cable back home with me. Given the length of time that had passed, plus my inability to return the cable for exchange or refund, I did not attempt to contact the seller or manufacturer. Accordingly, I cannot rate their customer service or warranty fulfillment; however, several other reviewers have noted that their problems and complaints were satisfactorily resolved. Far more have reviews said that their flat jumper cables worked just fine. So, I'm giving this 2 stars (instead of 1) because I assume that the design is good and the customer service is probably adequate, but that there are quality control issues that allowed a faulty unit to be sent to me. ... show more

  • Satellite cable window feed
Length: 1ft/32cm
This one is nice. Very thin cable that fits properly in the window and doesn't keep the window open. You can close the window completely and even lock it while still having the cable pass though the window opening. Update: Nope, this is so thin it gets interference added to the signal. I replaced it with another I had and the other one works flawlessly. This however gets choppy video. ... show more

  • Exactly what I needed
Length: 1.7ft/52cm
Not to long ago I bought a powered indoor/outdoor antenna that was a huge disappointment. After moving to the inland Empire my reception on the first floor was even worse. I used this flat cable to pass the antenna under the window & screen & now I receive almost every single channel in the area. Very happy with this product. My only suggestion would be to pick up a couple of male-to-male coaxial connectors, I needed one because the in-line power adapter & this flat coaxial adapter were both female connectors. ... show more

  • Great way to get your tv antena outside
Length: 1ft/32cm
So far so good, it allowed me to go from 24 channels to 64 and that's using a 20 tv antena. Shipping was great and fast, will update a review after a few months to see how it does with closing the sliding door on it. I added a strip of aluminum tape to the edge of the door frame to keep it from rubbing directly on the cable. 04/18/2020 almost 3 years later and it has not shown damage to the cable, this is having 2 kids under 6 years old opening and closing the sliding door. Great product, will highly recommend for someone looking to take their tv antenna outdoors. I even got one more for the master bedroom. ... show more

  • Waste of Money - Degrades Signal Far Too Much
Length: 1ft/32cm
As some others have written, while this fits easily through a window, it degrades the quality of the signal passing through because the wire is so thin. As an example, when I use the Comet brand pass through, the meter on my Police scanner reads 2 bars out of a possible 4 bars for a distant simulcast system. When I use this pass through, it reads zero bars and the signal isn’t available. With other signal readings, the signal strength goes from 3-4 bars using the comet to 0-1 bar with this pass through. ... show more
