  • Pretty cheap hobby project that everyone is amazed by.
Color: Silver
The engine uses Philips head which strip and showed up with one already stripped. Luckily I was able to muscle it out then swapped with hex bolts. The carb I was sent wouldn’t stay locked with choke off so would wiggle up during riding into the on position which would cut off the engine. So, Amazon sent me a new kit for me to use the carb. The replacement carb was perfect. Leaks a little oil, but after reading, this is typical of these Chinese engines. The reason I still give it 5 stars even after this is because for this price point, you basically get a motorcycle that doesn’t go too fast for my 10 year old. Starts right up and gets going very good. I bought a different brand engine kit for my first build, this is my second. First build took 5 hours because I didn’t know what I was doing. This build took only 1.5 hours. Both kits visually look the exact same. I’d say it is a good gift if you want something neat. Not sure how long it will last, but my kid and I go riding around no problem. ... show more

  • The bike is the exact same as a $100 kit I got, the only difference is a sticker.
Color: Silver
I have built around 10 motorized bikes so far and this one by far is the worst kit I have ever seen, every single bolt on the motor was stripped from the factory, I have bought better kits for less than $100, I have been trying for 2 weeks to get this bike running but it has had problem after problem, the exhaust bolts never went in far enough and the chain broke into pieces before I could even break it in, when I finally got it to run, the idle wouldn't adjust and it would rev super high then idle low then just bog out and die, I thought I finally fixed everything and then I got a couple miles down the road and the clutch handle literally fell off and I had to walk the bike all the way back home, dont buy this kit, it is poorly put together and just altogether not safe, it was a waste of my time and money and has done nothing but make me mad. Motorized bikes can be super fun, but this one will ruin your whole month, buy one on bikeberry.com if you want your money's worth. ... show more

  • Didn’t work for us at all.
Color: Silver
We did not get rear wheel sprocket aligned perfectly and chain came off pulling tensioner into rear wheel tearing rear wheel spokes apart ruining wheel. motor did not fit between pedals so had to be mounted higher above pedals where it was much less locked into frame causing misalignment between motor sprocket and rear wheel sprocket. Directions or instructions are very bad and in most cases no help at all. Even the simple things like where to connect the white wire coming out of the motor were not explained. It seems that the instructions that come with the motor are actually for another model or an older model. taking the chain apart and putting it back together to get the proper length is very difficult. and don’t forget that a new chain will stretch so you will have to do the process twice in all likelihood. The instructions on the carburetor were very bad not mentioning there is a pin in the carburetor sleeve that had to be aligned with a channel in the plastic cylinder that slides into the carburetor. of course there was no 800 number included or even an email address for service. On second thought, after examining The wreckage we noticed that the front motor mounts broke. When that happened The chain sprocket on the motor would have shifted and pulled the chain off the sprocket and probably then pulled the tensioner through the spokes on the rear wheel. Since most of the pressure is going to be on the front motor mount I would make sure that you mount the front of the motor directly to the frame. On the other hand the problem may have stemmed from attaching the chain from the motor To the rear wheel spokes when the spokes are really not designed for that at all. ... show more

  • Will vibrate itself apart
Color: Silver
Fits the bike well enough. The bolts break off with any kind of pressure. Vibrates hard causing everything to come loose or strips out bolts once I got it running. This one will go into the trash heap for spare parts, if any of it is usable. I got what I paid for I guess.

  • Good kit every thing was ok but instructions needed help will need a chain tool please read
Color: Silver
This is a good kit just a couple tweaks needed (include a chain splitter tool add 5.00 to the cost saves most people a trip to get one ) and the instructions need a little help no enough detail and its written like you already have done one already. And no parts list in the front to explain what is what very important to some one who has never installed one of these kits and the 3 hour time frame to install come on it took about 6 hours with the trip to harbor freight to get the chain tool ( yes you can do it with a punch and hammer and a block of wood but can damage the chain). And the gas tank was damaged the mounting tabs were bent 3 out of 5 need better packaging and the 99 cent paint job looked awful runs ever were and why are there 3 throttle cables? brake cables ? very confusing. And just a little back ground of my skill level have been a mechanic for over 15 years small engine, car, heavy equipment and this kit was a bit of a stress maker so if you want good feed back from future customer work on you manual one pats list with item description two clearer description and better step by step so the average person can understand and raise you Est time to assemble its not 3 hours more like 5-6 the average customer expectation on time frame to set enough time to assemble it. ... show more
