  • A strong, elegant case, ideal to carry your AKAI MPC LIVE to gigs.
I bought this case for my AKAI MPC LIVE, mainly because I needed a case to house my gear safely when I toured around. I was extremely satisfied with this case, though I wish they could offer another option made in white - grey brushed aluminum, with steel rims, handle and corners. It is a very sturdy and elegant case, well padded with foam, with a separate compartment for the basic USB cables. It doesn't have a separate compartment to accommodate the power supply though, because this unit primarily runs on an inbuilt rechargeable battery . If you are a traveling musician, I strongly recommend this product over a cheaper soft case to carry your MPC LIVE to your gigs without having to worry about its safety. ... show more

  • Great case
Analogue doesn’t miss, have their cases for my MPC Live 2 and for my Microkorg they never let me down, sturdy, durable, lightweight but still protective, it’s definitely a good investment if you plan on bringing you expensive production equipment on the road.

  • Everywhere I go!!
I take my MPC with me everywhere I go. I love this case. Great quality product for the money. My MPC, power chord, hard drive and cables all fit perfectly. I wish it had hooks on it for some type of shoulder strap but I can live without it.

  • Great design.
The media could not be loaded. Very nice design, but in my opinion a little overpriced. Very light travel case because it’s made out of aluminum. The quality is average, not as durable on the outside compare to other hard cases I’ve seen. Perhaps, because of its aluminum material this case feels very light and less durable. ... show more

  • Looks and feels high quality, though expensive.
Pros: Looks, feels like quality and is a great idea to have to protect your gear. Cons: Feels overpriced. Also, I don't know if it's the keys or the lock, but either way the locks don't work. Overall, I'd still recommend, but maybe try buying used because I don't think it's worth the full retail price. ... show more

  • MPC fits like a glove
Carrying an Akai MPC Live II retro with hard protective cover in this. Have room for spare power adapter and 1-2 short audio cables. Also, able to slip a small field notebook on top where the display leaves room. I only wish the hinges would allow the lid to open up beyond 90 degrees. If it's not level when I open it up, the lid keeps falling down on my hands and MPC, as I try to remove the gear. ... show more

  • Pretty nice case
Nice looking case, I like how it's made specifically for my MPC. Overall it's very protective, more than a soft bag/case. The build quality is good overall. The key/lock on the latches doesn't strike me as very secure design, but it will at least help keep the latches from opening unexpectedly. I noticed some sloppy gluing of the foam inside of mine but nothing that ruins it for me. ... show more

  • Worth the investment
This case works so get for my M aschine+ I couldn't see not having it for the MPC L2. Both drunm machines for really snug in the foam .. The way I see it, when you consider the cost of the your instrument, and the time invested in your music you're making,,, the cost of the carrying case is definitely worth the investment. ... show more
