The soap is phenomenal and it smells great - almost a eucalyptus, kind of classic "medical" smell to it - and the soap works great. I used this stuff for years to periodically manage ring round the collar build up on dress shirts and it keeps it bay. The brush is merely average though - it feels kind of cheesy in a way. Not terrible or anything, just very average. The bristles are definitely soft, which may be preferable for some fabrics, but I personally prefer a more medium-soft type brush for dress shirts and other clothes. Regardless, the brush does make a nice lather and seems to do a good job. Overall just okay. The soap is the winner, and they brush just tags along for the ride. Not a bad starter set if you don't have anything else around. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is great to remove those stubborn little stains. You simply fill the brush with liquid and combine its scrubbing with the soap provided to any stain, after giving the stain a good scrub you throw the material in the washer. Not sure what this soap is made of but it sure smells good and it was powerful enough to remove some surface stains before the wash. I will provide and update once the really dirty shirt I tried this one has completed a wash. So far so good! ... show more

These Fels Naptha soap bars are convenient to have on hand when potential stains happen or your laundry needs a little boost. I wasn’t aware you could shave the bars and use them for additional cleaning power in a washer, but I may try that sometime when I have a really yucky load. My go-to with these bars is to dampen a bar and rub it on a recently dirtied area of a piece of clothing prior to washing them. The brush will come in handy when I have a large area that needs a scrub, though I doubt that I’ll be using it much. ... show more

Fels Naptha Soap has been around forever and works great on removing stains. This kit comes with two bars of the soap. Since it only takes a small amount for the stains I usually get, they will last me for a while. The brush that comes with the soap can be filled with a liquid, but I just put the stain remover on the article of clothing and use the brush to scrub gently at the stain. ... show more

I love the soap. It works really well to remove stains. The brush is fine too use on many fabrics but when I tried to wash my sports bras,it seemed like the bristles wanted to make pills on the smooth material so I felt it was too abrasive for those stretchy kinds of clothes. Sometimes you just need to get back to basics. These Fels-Naptha Laundry Bars are tried & true, and do a good job of removing stains. This soap is also versatile - you can rub it directly into stains or you can grate some of the soap into your laundry (rub it in though if you are wanting stain removal!) This particular bundle includes a brush. While I typically use a wood handled laundry brush, this brush has the added convenience of a dispenser. You could add water, liquid laundry detergent or soap, or another liquid stain remover to the brush if you wanted to. ... show more

Love Fels Naptha soap. Have used for years on really tough stains with good success. The brush is fine. Odd to me that it has a place to add liquid soap/cleaner -- but is bundled with bar soap?
