I bought this and a bunch of other albums on recommendation. Perhaps I am a bit picky, but most people are. The reviews said this was a good track. It's OK, but I'm not going to recommend it to others. I can't. Still, if you are into blues type of music, perhaps this is for you. As for me, I need something catchy. If there was another way of explaining this... You know how it is when you go into a neighborhood and see the paint jobs on houses. Well, this album is not like the fire house red one, nor is it the eyesore crack-house on the corner. However, this album is not like the fantastically painted Victorian either. It would behoove whomever is interested in the music to listen to Youtube or free samples before they buy the album. ... show more

This album is one of my favorite in the Popular Christian Music Genre. I had never even heard of this band before they showed up on the "WWJD" Album put together by various artists. Like some of the other reviewers I only bought this for "WWJD" and have been pleasantly pleased with the album as a whole. I love "Wouldn't it Be Cool" and "Star in the Book of Life." This is not like a lot of albums with only one or two hits and a bunch of filler tracks this album is enjoyable from start to finish. ... show more

    • Jesus is alive and kicking!
When I first listened to BTR, I was kind of dissapointed, there weren't nearly enough of Jesus in the songs, but now I realize that there is a deeper meaning in the lyrics as well as in the music. GOD IS EVERYWHERE IN THIS CD!! I can feel the connection to the almighty spirit. It's like god is decending from the blue skies just to be present with me and we fight all evil spirits of the world together! ... show more
