Our family prefers tall coffee mugs that are easy to hold. These mugs are embossed with slightly different designs overlaying a solid color. I bought the 6 pack of 3 bone and 3 black colored mugs. They are large mugs, but not too heavy a weight. They are a casual style, but not so casual that you would be embarrassed to use for guests. We have used them 3 months and washed them in the dishwasher with no chipping. When they are washed upside down, they do not retain excessive rinse water that must be hand toweled off. This saves money, because the heating element energy is not required for dishwasher drying. Overall we are very pleased using these mugs. Update: I ordered another set of these. My husband and I each broke a cup. Unfortunately, one cannot drop the cup from 4 feet above a concrete floor and expect them to bounce back into a hand. I was very pleased finding these coffee mugs, as I looked everywhere for extra large coffee mugs and only these fit the bill! They hold twice as much as your average mug, have a large, open handle to grip on to, and the design and colors available are beautiful. I was also extremely happy with their delivery. They arrived promptly and were carefully packaged for shipping, so they arrived safe and sound without a single scratch on them. My only issues are that they are white inside, so they will stain with coffee and tea, and they are really too large for coffee mugs anyway. That’s my faultj, though.
