I love this AMOAMI rug. I’m a long time Amazon customer. I’m also very picky, opinionated, and have sensory issues. But I HAD to share how obsessed I am with this rug and how it was better than I could’ve imagined. I read a few reviews before ordering and didn’t even bother looking at any other rugs. For starters, the price was great. Two, it’s washable, and three, who doesn’t love fast shipping. Prior to this I had a $400 9x12 that had to constantly be shampooed because of dogs and my baby. After 10 days of not vacuuming, my vacuum was filled with dust and dirt and dog hair; it was repulsive. I tossed the old rug and ordered this and received in two days. I barely put it down 10 minutes ago and I’m already ecstatic writing this review. When it came in this tiny little box I was worried it would be super thin and flimsy but I was wrong. I first noticed how soft it was and then how easy it was to roll out. It likely won’t flatten completely for a day or two of walking on it but that doesn’t matter to me. It’s non slip and sticks to my floor wonderfully and it’s so pleasing to walk barefoot on. I’m usually not a “patterned rug” type of person but I’m seriously over the moon about this rug. It’s subtle, it’s not too busy, and matches my decor perfectly which I also was not expecting. Side note- I was worried the 8x10 would be too small. I have a big open living room, high ceilings, and a big bulky couch. Going from 9x12 to 8x10 was the best decision since my couch will still fit perfectly on top!!! Thanks for coming to my Ted talk. Surprised to see how compactly this 8'x10' area rug is folded up for storage. The rug design is nice, has a nice texture, and when unfolded onto the floor it lays pretty nicely. Spills do not soak into the fabric, so cleanups are easy. This rug is used under our litter boxes. I note that cat litter is vacumed up easily which is precisely what I wanted, and our cats have immediately taken a liking to it, as well, stretching out and digging their claws in. The rug seems to be pretty tough as I detect no damage whatsoever from the scratching. Time will tell how long the rug lasts, but if it is a year that will be a win. ... show more

This is a very low-pile rug, but it also has a surprisingly soft surface. The low pile is similar to high-traffic rugs, but it also feels very soft to walk on. It does not offer much padding, so it's only slightly less hard than the surface underneath. There is a rubber backing to prevent slipping, but a rug pad would add some padding. We had no trouble finding the perfect place for this rug, the colors are subtle and blend easily. The top is soft and the bottom is grippy, so it feels good and it doesn't slide on tile. They say it's washable, I don't think I'd try washing it but maybe a commercial laundry could tackle it. We're very happy with this, the Mist Grey is a warm grey with a few highlights of brown and dark grey. The look of a vintage rug is much softer than a new one would have, but you don't have to baby this rug. It arrived folded up, it has flattened out very well but may still need some steam iron on a couple spots to get it fully relaxed. It is thin enough to allow doors over it, the edges are wrapped (not sure of the terminology), so it has a finished look to it. Again, very happy with it. ... show more

This is a pretty rug. Nice and neutral. Feels well made. The nap is very very low so there’s not much of a feeling to this rug but would be great under furniture where a higher pile would hold up movement. I dropped a star only because after looking over the rug I noticed a few areas where I thought the nap just needed to be pushed over because color was missing but actually the color is just missing. It’s very slight and I guarantee that once the rug is one the floor you will never notice it again. Somehow in the production of the rug there was a slight skip in the ink here and there. ... show more

This rug is absolutely beautiful. It looks exactly like it does in the picture in real life. Super easy to clean and easy to fold up in case you need to store it anywhere. Very high quality materials and it is a very comfortable rug for being as thin as it is, to walk on. The shipping was absolutely blazing fast. I ordered it and it arrived literally the next day. Great finish and great stitching on the exterior to ensure that it won't come apart and once you lay it down the grip on the bottom and shares that it will not go anywhere.
