Got this for a few reasons. #1 privacy. I can't afford a big wooden privacy fence but still want to be able to have some privacy in the backyard and enjoy the outdoors. Not 100% blockage but anyone driving by won't see me sitting in my yard now. It's see through up close, but from afar you're good to go. You can really only make out general shapes anyhow. #2 extra shade for the doggo. I have one bushy tree in the yard and this fence already provides ample shade for him to enjoy. #3 I hate seeing other people's clutter LOl and this hides the neighbors yard and I feel like my space is more MINE if they makes sense. Installed in about an hour but myself. I would recommend wearing a glove to get the zip ties super tight. I didn't, and have two pretty big blisters on my index and ring finger from pulling so hard. We took down the old bamboo and tried a length of this screen. So much easier to install compared to bamboo and costs less. It doesn't block 100% but unless you are really trying to see through it you can a little depending on the light and angle you are looking. We will see how long it lasts but if I get 2 or three years I will be happy and when it goes bad it will be a heck of a lot easier to remove and dispose of. ... show more

Well I gave it 4 stars because of a couple things. I had 3 of the eyes sort of tear out a little, not all the way but enough I had to stop pulling it any tighter. You can still see thru it and I was hoping it would have been darker and not as see thru but hey I'm hoping it will work for what I need with 3 big dogs behind our house and our two small dogs, it's a bark feast everyday out back. Only other thing I could do is is use a brown tarp over it to make it not so see thru. But I like that the fabric is pretty thick and hope it holds up a couple years. And buy your self some longer Zip Ties, you'll need them because at you corner post their to short and their sort of cheap really so I used my own from HF and put two in each eye for just in case of breaks, you'll see what I mean if you buy this you'll need longer and more Zip Ties. The ends are made pretty good and plenty of eyes to start and hold it tight as you pull going down the fence as I did. Added 10/26/2020, Since installing fabric I see that when the Sun shine come's around behind us in the South I see that the German Shepherds behind us sort of can see our two small "Havanese Pups" which it isn't as bad but if they get close enough the bigger 6 foot tall German Shepherd will just stand up on the fence to start doing his barking. While in the hospital the last 4 days our neighbor compliment on the fabric to my wife the other day saying that was a great ideal and he seen also that it's needs to be thicker and asked my wife where I got it. He told her that he was going to order one myself for his side an see if it will help better. But people this isn't cheap fabric it is kind of thick and should hold up to some good winds as long as you attach it correctly with enough Zip Ties , make sure to get at least 11 inches sizes you won't regret it for sure and as I did I had some thicker 18 inch ones to use at the starter posts at the end that are thicker and the ones you receive aren't long enough. I will be buying another 50 footer to continue farther down the fence line so it's harder for the dogs as where his fence ends about 10 foot from where my 50 foot ends so I'll be another 40 feet passed the end of his fence that ties into my fence. I hope this helps someone and especially about sizes of Zip Ties. Brown is a pretty dark color but it has small holes thru out panel after you install it. Took me 3 hours alone and I double Zipped Tied every hole and it's good and tight without "Wrinkles, yes it can and looks better to boot! as I see in some picture. We purchased this fence screening to reduce our dog’s nuisance barking along the fence line with my neighbors dogs. It’s not completely opaque so they can still see each other a little, so not an 100% win but it keeps them from direct eye contact. An added plus, it makes my backyard look a bigger and more uniform. We put it up a couple months ago so I don’t know durability through winter weather. Will update review if any problems come up. Product looks super slick on the chain link fence. Wind does catch it on windy days and I have had to on a couple occasions redo the zip ties holding the grommets on. All in all its a great product. Custom sizes too.
