Decently easy to assemble as long as you follow the instruction manual and pay attention. My husband and I put it together in about 45 minutes. The wood kinda cracks and splits a little bit when screwing in the screws, but those parts end up covered up in the end. The wood is thick and heavy and the design is nice and sleek. Before I get into it, let me start by saying I really do like the table. Once assembled it's very nice and it's great for what I need it for. Ok, now that that is out of the way, I'd like to talk about what's not so great. Whoever says it only takes 45 min to put together.... Lies. I spent 3 hours and had to take numerous breaks because my hands were so sore from attaching 5272782 screws to every last piece of this thing. My sweet 6 yr old son wanted to help so badly, and he did. He would hammer the screws into the holes as best he could so mommy doesn't get carpal tunnel. As the pieces started coming together the cam locks didn't seem to be holding things in place as tightly as I would hope. This thing is heavy. Like team lift or throw your back out, heavy. I like the table. It goes great with my new furniture, but I will spend 3x as much to never have to assemble a coffee table ever again. ... show more

If you’re ordering this you should know it’s not a solid wood, high quality “luxury” piece of furniture. It’s your typical Amazon furniture with those screw fasteners and wood dowels. That being said, for this price range and quality range of coffee tables this one is excellent. Some of the screw holes weren’t lined up great and there are small things that I notice, but no else will notice those things and overall it looks great ... show more

When I saw this table I wasn’t so sure. Due to the fact that it’s a square rather than a rectangle table but I gave it a shot and I seriously do not regret it whatsoever! The table is sturdy, heavy, and very beautiful! Putting the table together was so easy. It took me and my fiancé about an hour and 15 minutes to put together. The directions were very clear, thorough and easy to follow. It also made our living room look a bigger as well. In the picture I posted, it looks small but it’s a very decent size. A few parts crumbled with the lightest pressure. One of the pressure screws actually pulled out so I had to use a bracket and smaller screws to secure the leg. The size is perfect but the fit and quality are not good. It still wobbles a bit since the screws cannot be tightened too much.
