  • Great tires.
Look good, grips good, rides good!

  • Great tire for off road for the price!
I installed this on a truck that spends most of its time on trails so my review reflects that. Its street manners are "ok" they hum somewhat noticeably on the road which will only get worse as they wear. But for off road, very happy! These have quite deep treads between the lugs, decent lug spacing and the sidewall has moderate tread as well for airing down/rubbing rock edges. They are a nice compliant tire that airs down nicely. Was very snug on the bead when I mounted them and they had the orange and yellow markers on the tire so you know where the heavy spot was for clocking the tire on the rim for best balance with fewer weights. Im actually using no weights and its pretty close to balanced. Will purchase again. ... show more

  • Shop says they WILL NOT fit on 2015 (stock) 4Runner so they will not install
Just a bit of info for anyone with 2015 generation 4Runner with (stock) no lift. Although it has been said the 285/70/17 will fit with minor mod to the front or maybe not ...The authorized shop I had these shipped to refused to install them not even the rear tires for fear the front will rub. i tried to explain that yes I am aware and I will work out the front fender and/or body mount mod on my own, just follow the script and install the tires. They wouldn't so maybe I will go with the 265/70/17? Just a FYI for anyone with a stock runner wondering about the 285 width. ... show more

  • Montana Mountain/highway use
I put these on my truck before last winter hit. I use my truck to hunt all over our rugged mountain roads and commute on the highway plus around town. These tires did really good! Our winter wasn’t too brutal but the snow, ice and mud didn’t leave me phased. Got in some hairy situations and never had to use chains or get winched or yanked out. I’ve put about 5k miles on them and they still look brand new. They are pretty meaty looking as well. Replaced Cooper Discoverers and I like these better. Less kick around on the highway when it’s slick and more grabby on the mountain roads with snow and mud ... show more

  • A really nice tire for the money
I have only had my tires on for a few days and they look nice aggressive tread, ride smooth and the noise is no where i expected. I would buy them again..

  • Surprised..
I figured these would be good for street driving. However, I didn’t anticipate taking this to the snow. To my surprise, they held up great! I do have 4x4 and anticipated having to throw on chains. But these held their own. No sliding or drifting. And was able to get out of our driveway after it snowed all night. ... show more

  • Not labeled correctly
Tires are only Mudd terrain not all terrain at all good if your going mudding but useless if not.
