I LOVE these envelopes. Very high quality.

I got these to make 120 valentines letters. This of course has more than that but I tend to scrap a card when I mess up and I write with a glass quill so that can happen a lot for me. ant colors And the one adorable pattern. These held up to well ink (if you use well ink you understand how impressive that can be, especially when you dip just a little further than you meant to and didn’t dab enough off), that cards I knew would because they are card stock, the envelope's however… I was not anticipating. I put a scrapped card stock into each envelope to address them and it came out clean. Even the inside of the envelope was clean of bleed through. I was also surprised to see they stood up beautifully to scalding sealing wax. Not one of them wilted after being sealed. I am incredibly impressed and absolutely will recommend to others. 10/10 recommend this to anyone into writing letters or notes. These were honestly impressive and absolutely beautiful. If you value quality, I HIGHLY recommend these.

Simple but quality note cards

These are like big index cards not a traditionL fold over card !

I purchased these to make thank you cards but realized they were not fold over . They still worked for the value . They do have a slight coating so some pens won’t write on them so be warned . I do love the colors and the amount for your money . They are thick and very vibrant colored .

Decent value, crackly paper, unusual size

I bought these for about 13 bucks, so it makes me very sad to see the price dropping to under $10 the day after I purchased them - so first of all, maybe check some price history if this is a non-urgent purchase for you. Ok now that the unpleasant bit is out of the way, let's get to the physical prod
uct. I chose the neon set and not the pastel - where you get a bundle of super bright envelopes in 8 colors (2 shades of pink, 2 shades of orange, 2 shades of green and 1 shade each of yellow and blue), with matching color cards, which are essentially pieces of thin cardstock. Envelopes and cards stacked separately, inside a sturdy transparent plastic carton. You could use the carton to store them if you like. The paper felt a bit flimsy and crackly, though it does not feel too thin. The thickness and texture are hard to describe. Ultimately, when you buy envelopes this small - especially in neon colors - you are probably not looking for super luxurious sophisticatedly thick envelopes for use in ultra formal situations. Still, worth mentioning. The neon color is very neon. Enough to confuse your eyes a little bit if you write on them in white ink - especially the orange and green. I guess that just means it is a very good neon, so it is technically a positive feature and not a bug. The pieces of cardstock are just single panels and not folded (as very clearly stated in the product description). Worth nothing that the cardstock has a white core, meaning it's like the colored ink was printed on both sides of white cardstock so you will see the white along the edge cross section. Might not matter at all to most people, but thought I'd mention this. Also, I thought of the cardstock as a fringe benefit since I was really buying this for the envelopes. I'm just seeing it as a bonus pack of neon cardstock to use in die-cutting for cardmaking. You could also trim it slightly smaller and use as a card mat/front on a white card base, put some basic greeting on top, and use with the matching envelope to make a color co-ordinated set. The inside of the envelopes is white. The American Greetings logo (rose) is lightly embossed on the triangular flap. Next, the MOST important part for me - the EXACT dimensions of this thing. I sifted through all reviews to get a good sense of dimensions and could not find that information easily, so here goes. *** This is NOT A2, nor does it claim to be *** Cards measure 5 and 3/16 inches by 3 and 15/16 inches. The cards are not cut perfectly - there is a very slight slant to them. The neon colors should blind your recipient sufficiently that they might not notice this (if you do pick neon). Envelopes measure 4 inches by 5 and 7/16 inches. For mass produced budget items like these, expect some small variations in size depending on the production batch. So there it is, everything I could think of. I hope you find this helpful.

Great cards at great value for any occasion

These are amazing! The colors are SO BRIGHT, the cards themselves are made of a nice substantial stock, and it is so handy to be able to grab one really quick and dash off a note. Anything that you're going to mail, but isn't a full THING that would require an actual full-blown greeting card, can be covered with one of these guys. I love that there's a variety of colors, I love that there are a TON of them, and I enjoy being prepared to send any note for any occasion at the drop of a hat.

My sister and I use these for every Etsy order we send out and people rave about how cute our packaging is! The cards are sturdy enough to keep the envelope unbendable which is an awesome bonus!

These are cute! However I made the assumption that I was getting empty greeting cards, these are more like post cards or index cards! No fold. It’s definitely my error as I should have done further inspection but I don’t want it to happen to the next person. Still super cute
