Fit-Lock Rubber Tiles are interlocking rubber floor tiles that easily and seamlessly lock together to protect floors around weight rooms, fitness centers and home gyms. I was about to order a different floor mat set and I'm glad I held off and took the time to read a few Reddit threads and research home gym flooring. These are rated the highest for a reason. Granted they just arrived so I can't speak to longevity but my initial impressions after setting up is they're everything I hoped for. There's no give underneath, really dense. They don't slip around on my wood floors. The cuts fit perfectly with the 6' x 8' mat set I ordered. Honestly couldn't be happier. These were a bit more expense than I planned for but feel well worth it. And they arrived a lot faster than the initial expected shipping time which was a nice surprise! These are perfect for my apartment! High quality and heavy/dense, so you know they will last. They don't do as great of a job with noise reduction from setting weights down as I would have hoped... I still need to set my kettlebells down gently as to not disturb my downstairs neighbor. I was thinking of putting a rubber drainage mat under it to help with the impact a little more but haven't tried that yet. Very cool pattern and color with the specs. The off gassing/smell wasn't as bad as I thought from what I was reading. You can smell it when. You walk in my small apartment, but it's mild and you get used to it after a minute and can't smell it at all. It smells like a gym... Not like toxic gas. I can tell that after some time the smell will go away. Either light a candle and spray febreez until then, or just deal with the minute of mild smell. I'm in a studio apartment and it doesn't bother me... So if youre worried about it stinking up your garage, just get over it. ... show more
