Update 3/26/20: After posting my initial review stating my dissatisfaction I had assumed that was the end of it, However almost immediately the seller had reached out to me. To be honest I had not been expecting any responses so I did not notice the many attempts they made to try and rectify the issue. When I finally responded the seller did everything in their power they could to ensure that my experience with Amella Hair changed completely. I do not think I have ever encounter so much persistence and dedication when dealing with any company's customer service support and I believe this should be commended. They went above and beyond to help me and evolved my lack luster experience to the positive review I'm leaving today and I may even purchase from them again in the future. I was surprised to find a 24 inch bundle under $40 with so many outstanding reviews. Initially it took me a while to settle on this product because its price was so low but i read great review after great review so assuming that if the product was poorly made it wouldn't have been rated so highly. HAIR EVERYWHERE every min of everyday i am shedding I am at my third wash and maybe down to my last 100 strands of the 24 inch bundle. My weave is only still holding up because the rest of the hair two 20 inch bundles and especially the high quality 360 closure (not purchased from this seller) is keeping it alive. Everyone keeps asking if i cut my hair recently but no i just washed it there went 1/3 of my weave. I knew immediately my mistake when i opened the package and the difference in quality between this bundle and the rest of hair i already had was stark. It was rough and processed with frayed ends. I of course cant be too sure that maybe i just got a bad batch and everyone else was lucky however it is enough that i will never purchase bargain weaves again. I am writing such a lengthy review in order to protect the next person trying to same a dime but keep length. I don't want to call most of these people in here the review section liars but my experience was NOT the same nor is this an exaggeration. It's been a little over a year since I last purchased a hair weave for myself. As a Maker of wigs for off Broadway shows I've dealt with every quality of hair out there and without a doubt this hair is TOP NOTCH AMAZING! Immediatly inviting with it's neat and clean packaging this hair comes in thick full bundles, without a smell, true to length, and with a complimentary dual set of eyelashes. This company Amella does a great job in ensuring customer satisfaction so I must say do not be deterred by the few negative reviews. I've found that most people who complain likely did something wrong with their hair somewhere along the way. Having purchased this hair more than once in multiple textures I find it lifts very well with no breakage so if you're looking to color don't be weary as IT HARDLY SHEDS, and I don't mean lightly. I've been wearing the unit I made for about 4 weeks now, it functions great as my easy throw on everyday piece, I washed it three times to rid it or product build-up and have lost practically no hair. I always let it air dry over night and the natural hair texture retention is unparalleled. As I made a unit I cannot attest for constant wear with a sew-in but this hair is pretty hard to tangle and as for dryness, there is next to none. Now with any hair, it's never suggested to cut the weft, the only shedding I experienced with this hair was the curly Brazilian variety I got and I'm sure it was due to cutting the weft and not fully re-sealing it. Still it was minimal to none. As for the comments on "curl holding", this hair makes a gorgeous curl, and like any hair, natural or weaved, if it's not caked up with product the hold should be no problem. I curl it dry with a heat protectant and little gel. I also let my curls sit to better retain definition. For the price it can't be beat but more importantly THE QUALITY, is completely AMAZING especially for the price. I ordered the 14 16 and 18 wave and I'll say if you're looking for length, go for length. Completely pleased with it I only wished I got a longer length as I am tall so it requires a little more to get that long hair look. With that said I've got a 18, 20 & 22 coming with a full frontal Saturday and I can't wait to make another beautiful piece. ... show more

Disclaimer: I ordered this hair using my boyfriend’s account. The hair is nice but it is not 100% human hair. There are red and orange strings in the hair which leads me to believe it’s mixed. PROS: The hair curls well and holds curls really well w/o holding spray. The 20, 22, and 24 inch bundles were full all the way to the end. I only ended up using 2 1/2 bundles for my install. The bundles did not have a weird smell. The bundles held their natural wave pattern after co-washing them. The shedding is minimal. CONS: The 26 inch bundle was noticeably different than the 20, 22 and 24 inch bundles but it ended up working out fine. The ends of the hair can get a bit tangled and dry. I’ve only had the hair in for a week and it’s installed as a quick weave. This might make my experience different from others who installed it as a sew-in. The total came out to $180 including taxes and I think that’s fair for 4 bundles. I typically spend $300 for 3 bundles. ... show more
